Well....guys!!!!

I don't know how, but I have lost some weight....fully clothed, and at the end of the day too.

While I was cleaning at the Doctor's Office (Clinic) tonight, I thought to myself...I haven't weighed-in since I moved. I thought....I should weigh myself, and see where I'm at. Before even getting on the scale, I put the one slider thing on 200 figuring that I would've gained weight...since I haven't been so strict, and since I was off for almost 1.5 weeks. I took my shoes off, emtied my pockets, and got on the scale fully clothed (bra [that could wegh a pound in it's self ], undies, sweat pants, socks, t-shirt, sweatshirt). I had to move the slider thing to 150. Then, I kept edging the other slider thing heavier until it was on 44.5.

So, at the end of the day (I usually weighed-in first thing in the morning), fully clothed (I used to weigh-in naked ), I weighed 194.5.

This is how I felt:

Busy, busy day... I wasn't home most of it..

Tooter, I loves ya girl.. AND BTW, where can I go to learn about your couponing? I used to kind of do it, back in the 80'as when it was so big, but my problem is, there are never coupons for what I buy..

Click, it's going to happen.. I feel it in my bones. You'll have a job in no time! Keep the faith, keep believing..

Pear, I look forward to seeing your avi daily. Wish I was as talented..

HG, you go girl!

Good morning, Kiki. It's a gorgeous sunny morning here, too. A bit of a nip in the air (but practically tropical compared with your temperatures ).

That's the way to look at it, L&F . Only 25 lbs. Hardly worth bothering with . Silly girl, it's great progress. 8 lbs a month is not "only," it's about as fast as you can lose weight safely, and in a way that gives you a good chance of keeping it off.

I hope you get some more sleep and some income soon .

Tooter, the coffee's all ready for you.

Pear, can't wait to see today's avi .

Jean, have you come up for air yet?

Hippie, are you still happy dancing?

Ailuros..
There is an awesome website I go to. They actually will walk you through how to "coupon". Not only that, but they have different "Rooms" (threads) For different stores and will give you the "Heads up" on deals at your stores.

I buy 4 Newspapers on Sunday. Not every Newspaper have the same "inserts". My local Newspaper will have only a handful of coupons. I found out that the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Has a TON of Coupons in it. It's not a local Paper, but My Grocery store (even Convenient Stores) Carry that Paper on Sundays. I just go to my Grocery Store and pick up 4 copies.

Also, Going to the Products websites, you can compliment them and ask for coupons. The manufacturers send awesome coupons in the mail.

You also need to find out your local stores Policies on Coupons. Do they double? Up to what amount? Do they double "Like" coupons and how many?

My Local store doubles up to .99 and will double 4 of the same kind. Meaning If they have (example) 2 liter Diet Pepsi on sale for .99 and I have a coupon for .25 --- I can buy (4) 2 liters and use (4) .25 coupons that they will double to .50 I can't buy a 5th and use a coupon. They will only double (4) of the same kind.

The Store I go to (near my husbands office) doubles coupons up to 1.00, but only (1) of the same kind. The rest would be face value. So, Let's say I have a coupon for 1.00 off of pop-tarts. That ends up being doubled to 2.00 off of poptarts, but If I had 2 coupons and bought 2 boxes (in the same transaction) The first coupon would be doubled to 2.00 and the 2nd would stay at face value. -2.00 off the first box and -1.00 off the 2nd. I have learned to make more then one transaction (go through the line again) so that all my dollar coupons are doubled. I save my Dollar coupons for this store.
Fantastic spray cleaner? I always get it for about .26 to .40 a bottle because of this.

Anyways, I will PM you the website. I don't think I can post it here. If any of the rest of you want it, PM me. Oh, they even have an International room (I haven't checked it out) That might help Ailuros out!!

Kiki, I was like you...I "dabbled" in the couponing before. It doesn't even COMPARE to what I have learned from this site. These people truly give you the "Heads up" on deals that were right in front of our faces and we never figured it out. Example, They showed me how to get about 58 boxes of Kraft dinner for about $4.80 and using NO coupons!! My store had a deal where if you bought 7 "Kraft" products you instantly got $4 taken off your bill. People knew it worked on the more expensive Kraft products, but didn't realize it included the "Kraft dinner". People also didn't realize that it wasn't a ONE TIME thing. It was unlimited. As long as you bought by (7) it kept taking $4 off your bill.

I hardly ever shopped at my drug store. CVS. Now? I'm there all the time and I can't believe the free stuff I get there.

It's pretty cool.

Anyways, it's a "message board" site and you don't have to register to "Read" and glean from it. It is Free, but you have to register if you want to post.

I'll PM you the site and like I said...If anyone else wants it, PM me and I give it to ya.

Well, we are on a "Flood Watch" for the next few days. Yesterday we got up in the 50's and most of the snow melted. Today we are to get thunder storms.

I think the tempts today will be in the High 30's almost 40's.
