Today...I've been doing school work!!! ALL DAY LONG!!!!!

I still have plenty to do, and it's all due by midnight. So, I can't stay on here long, but will check back in when I'm done.

Tomorrow...providing the weather permits...I will have a busy day!!!

Take the youngest to school. Will go to my school. Then, to a job interview an hour away from where I live. Return home. Pick the son up from school. Then, go fill out another application at this place that someone told me about when I was down in the laundry area. It is just one town over, and pays very well...but...it's not something that I would want to do forever (collections). It does pay very well though, and she told me to use her name as a reference.

Today, all I've had are pork rinds. I know, I know...naughty click, but it was either that...or eat something full of carbs...like mac & cheese. I need to go grocery shopping really bad, but figured that I should make sure and save some gas money first. As long as the son has something to eat...I'm fine.
Camembert is a French cheese - a bit like brie.

I hope you managed to get your work finished.

I'm just off to find something for breakfast. I'll make extra coffee . See you later.

If you run out of room...and you're looking to fulfill the rush---from "saving"....feel free to come here, and bargain shop for me. You can teach me. You'd have fun, as my cupboards are quite bare!!!! You should see my spice turntable thingy. It goes in the cupboard, and it's like a turntable. I have two things on it (Garlic salt and cayenne pepper). It used to be overflowing with containers of this, and containers of that. It all got thrown away. I bet that my canned goods cupboard has less than 10 things in it. SEEEeeeeeee.....you'd have fun!!!! SOooooo....when are you coming?
Dollar stores have "Spices" and Seasonings for about .50! Even regular grocery stores have the "off brands" from about .79 to .99 cents. That's a way you can cheaply add to your spice/seasoning collection. Just pick up one or two a week. Drug stores also have cheaper spices.

Thanks for posting that, I needed to read it again. I'm a believer. I didn't have any problems until I up'd my carbs. It was a real eye opener for me.

For some people, it can be a specific food intolerance, I think, and wheat is a favourite, but also the higher carb levels slow down the production of anti-inflammatory substances whatever the source (according to Protein Power). Age, stress, disease and trans-fats do too, but other than the trans fats, there's not much we can do about the rest. Making sure to get enough protein helps, too.

I just made a fresh pot of coffee. Anyone want a cup? Anyone need a Coffee I.V. hook up? lol Let's wipe the weekend from our eyes and get this day started.

Well, we had MAJOR Food Porn at my house this weekend and it wasn't low carb.

I made Peanut butter rolls. You take a thawed loaf of Frozen bread, roll it out. Spread peanut butter on it, sprinkle sugar on top and add some peanut butter chips. Roll it up. Slice it into "Rolls". Place it in a baking pan and bake it. After you let it cool, you ice it with Peanut butter icing. The family had this for breakfast along with French Toast and Eggs Benedict. The HEATHENS!

I also baked Mint Chocolate chip cookies.

Dinner was Country fried, Cubed Steak, Pan Gravy, buttered noodles, Green beans almondine, Cesar Salad and a Loaf of Italian bread.

Now, I might cook all this, but I don't eat it. Usually. I did cheat and have the Country Fried Steak and gravy. I had not had that in such a long time. OMG, it was so good...But I am paying the price today. So, I am "fasting" for most of the day and then strict low carb tonight for dinner. This seems to get my IBS Under Control when I do this.

Obviously, My family isn't doing low carb with me anymore.

Tonight the family is having Spaghetti, Garlic bread and an Italian tossed salad.

I am having a hamburger Pattie (with Mayo) on top of a Salad with Greek Dressing.

I am just amazed at how quickly it showed up in me. Kinda shocking how fast it happened. It's also shocking in how quickly it went away with going back to strict low carb.

The best laid plans of Mice and men.

I had planned on getting a bunch of stuff done around the house today. I even had "Laundry" started.

Just got a phone call from Hubby. He forgot something that he needed (badly) at the office. Could I come in and bring it? The office is about 30 Miles away and over the Mountains. I was planning on going later in the week (to do my coupon shopping at a place over there that doubles $1 coupons) but, I guess I'll just also grab my coupons and do it today.

MORE SHOPPING!! LOL

So, I guess I will be MIA for most of the day.

You all have a fantastic day.

Hey...Anyone know when Jean will be back? I miss her. I hope she and David are having a wonderful time.

Oh, I'm leaving, but I left the coffee pot on for ya.

Morning...

Dang it's cold 15*.. A big change from Sat and 72-73*.. We have many inches of snow out there too.. We almost had all the snow melted from our yard, that's fallen this season.. Almost...

Tooter, if you lived closer, I could hook you up with Diet Dr Pepper... Girl child got sick and souldn't drink it, and ended up giving it up all together. This, just after her Dad bought her a 36 pack or whatever it comes in, at Sams, and of course took it all out of the case and put it in the garage fridge... We don't know anyone else who drinks it, to give it to...

Does that bribe you to jump in the car and come for a visit?

Lisa! You little workout fiend. Running late..

I'm off later for results to all my physical tests... I know I'm fine, but why am I worreid they will tell me awful things...

Everyone have a great day..

Morning gals:

I like brie a little better than camembert, but they're both good.

I'm up one pound on the weekly weigh in, I'm actually surprised it wasnt three or four. So I'm a happy camper.

Click, good luck on your interview and getting your resume in at the other place. I'm praying for you.

I'm surprised the medical establishment doesnt recognise the connection between gluten and arthritis. Instead, they like to prescribe expensive drugs. Hmmm, wonder why??? *Pear has lost most faith in the medical industry*

Have a great day y'all!

Have a great day y'all!
Thanks, Pear!!!!

I had one interview today...in the cities...45 miles away. Of course they won't say when they will make any decisions.

Then, I went to the collections place, filled out their application, and was asked if I had time for an interview. So, of course, I had an interview there today...as well!!!! He said that it will take a couple of days, but he would let me know. Their next training week wouldn't start for a couple of weeks.

I, also, have an outstanding application here in town as a teacher's assistant. She said that she would be calling for interviews by mid-week.

Well, I have to go get the son from school. Then, come home and do some homework, and tonight....go clean for 2.5 hours. Then, when I get home from there...I'm going to sit down, and decide where I will go tomorrow for applying.

Love ya' guys!!!!!!

Your Clicky

P.S.

Ailuros....I like brie cheese. And...by the way...I didn't ask any questions this time!!!!

Tooter....thanks for the advice on the spices...you little TURD!!!!!

Pear...Thanks for the prayers, and good wishes!!!!!

Jean must be becoming quite fit... "cardio" fit... by now!!!!
