Hello, Everyone!!!! ![]() I'm soooo sorry that I haven't been on here like I used to be. I've been running around trying to find work!!! It really sucks during the "looking" phase of a job. Employers think that people have forever to find a job, or atleast that is what it seems. I got the little 6 hour cleaning job at the clinic. It's from 8-11pm 2x's/week (Wednesdays and Thursdays). It's an extra 60 bucks/week, and right now...I need it. I've, also, been applying for some teacher assistant positions. They are 40 hours/week @ about $11/hour. From 10am-6pm...or around those times. The positions require 12, or more, college classes that are relevant to the job. I have more than 12. So, with any luck...I will get one of the positions. I hope that I can land one of them...until I get my CNA license. The next testing date for the CNA thing is March 29. So, I start the cleaning job tonight. Atleast it's only 3 hours/time. I have to hurry and get what homework is due by midnight done now...so that it is not late. I've been good at sticking to my woe this week. It's funny...all of my swelling went down in a day. One of my friends was so surprised to see how my fingers were so different over a 24 hour period. I still haven't found my scale. I hope to find it by Friday...then, I can start my "normal" friday weigh-ins again...with my scale. Where ever the number is...is where I will start, as I don't know how accurate my parent's scale was. I hope that I haven't gained a ton!!!! (Either by being off for a week, or the differences in scales!!!!)So far today: ("sandwich"): 2 Romaine leaves--mayo'd up like bread fresh roasted turkey small amount of marble jack Turkey soup--without noodles or crackers 2 slices of bacon All the following cooked in butter: 2 medium eggs 1 slice of deli ham freshly roasted turkey 1 very thin slice of provolone Tooter...hope that you are feeling better!!!! ![]() Ailuros...maybe, in time I'll have to try that flax out!!! ![]() ![]() I hope that I will have time to be on here too. Once I have a schedule, I'm sure that it will be easier to have my "normal" time here...whatever time that may be. By the way...no licking your fingers, or the bowl, while baking those yummy treats!!!![]() Pear...Your salsa upswing? ![]() I know what you're talking about, but it sounds like a dance...or something!!! Are you writing what you ate on the graph too? I can't wait to have a "normal" schedule again!!!!Hippie...Your posting was so funny!!! ![]() Probably because that's how I would feel too!!! I would hate the guy very quickly!!!! I miss you, and everyone here!!!!![]() Jean...Well...she must be having fun!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RockyMtnAngelEyes & Yellowrose...I hope to get to know you both better soon!!!! Sorry that I haven't been too much of an active participant since you've both joined us!!! Well, I have to go and do my homework now. Then, do the dishes, and go to work for 3 hours. Maybe, if I'm not beat, I will check back in tonight. Love and Miss All Of You!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :lo ve: |

Click, congrats on getting the night job. Hopefully something more fullfilling will come in for days. Keeping my stem crossed you get the teachers assistant job, sounds like something you'd like to do. I think you'd be really good at it. I put on the graph whenever I eat something out of the ordinary so I can see how it affects me. I just use an excel document, I made the boxes narrower so they look like squares, listed 1 - 31 on top and pounds on the side and I fill in the appropriate square with color. Its the same idea as a paper one. Here's my graph:

Boy...am I pooped!!!!!
I must have emptied atleast 50 garbage cans, dusted that many rooms, and vacuumed 1 square mile worth of carpet!!!! It was a good workout though. The owner, also, offered me 3 hours of new construction cleaning for Saturday...at $15/hour. So, I said, "yes." Also, they might start giving me an additional 2.5 hours/week at the same place on Tuesday nights. If they do, that would be an extra $85/week for cleaning 8.5 hours/week. Not bad extra money. The owner pays every other week. So, I was thinking that if I hang on to the checks, and only cash them once/month, it would look like something. With the extra 2.5 hours that I might acquire, that would be an extra $340/month. That's not bad for only going some where for a few hours, a few times/week. And it's only about two minutes from where I live. Plus, if he, on occassion has "extra" work...like this weekend...it would be more. Now, I just hope that I get some news tomorrow on my daytime (full-time) job, as I am getting sick and tired of running around chasing my tail. It's tiring to me for some reason? ![]() Well, I need to go downstairs...and change the laundry load. Then, get a shower, and go to bed!!! See you all tomorrow...hopefully, I will have some news about the full-time position that I have been trying to fill!!!! Sleep good everyone!!! ![]() |

Pear, it's good to see February's line lying lower than January's. That's the sort of thing it's sometimes hard to spot with just the numbers. I know you've written in "salsa" before the up days, but I've sometimes noticed an instant gain when I ovulate. Just for a couple of days. Just another thing to confound our efforts
.L&F it's good to hear from you when you can get here - but I understand you're running around trying to sort your life out . Well done keeping on track with your food - seeing your fingers losing their puffiness before your eyes is the sort of thing that reminds you why you need to eat this way. Keeping my fingers crossed about your job hunt.Tooter, hope you're feeling better today. Kiki, I'm just about to start making the pizza. |

Sorry I'm late with your coffee, Tooter. The board was down so I couldn't get it to you
.The pizza tasted pretty good, but the mozzarella I had was a ball in brine, rather than the harder, grateable kind, and I think that's why the texture turned out a bit soft. When I tried to grate mine, it just turned to mush. It firmed up, of course, as it cooked, but the pizza wasn't as self-supporting as Cleo's photos of hers. I wondered about using some other cheese, but I think the mild flavour of mozarella is better than a stronger cheese, like cheddar. Because the base is sort of flavoured like a topping, it didn't really need much in the way of extra cheese on top. It was sort of like eating pizza without a base as far as the taste was concerned. |

Morning gals,
Ailuros, pizza eaten with a fork or a spoon is STILL better than no pizza at all Maybe I'll be able to figure out when I ovulate by that chart over time. Not that it matters, I have teenagers (birth control in itself). |

Its been very quiet here today.
I just finished a charcoal grey purse with marble white fur for my MIL. I hope it makes my SIL insanely jealous *innocent smile* She's the one that doesnt like me because I took her BIL to America. She's huge on family staying together. She protested our marriage by not allowing her husband (hubby's brother) to come to our wedding. ![]() Anyhow, I think our shopping list is almost done for hubby's trip. He leaves in three weeks. Yellowrose, hope your hubby made it home safely. Tooter, hope you're feeling better. Click, hope good things are happening for you. You need a good break and soon. Hippie and RMAE, I ordered some 5-HTP for hubby at swansonsvitamins along with his enzymes. They have such awesome deals there. I hope that it works for him. His sleep is so messed up with the changes between day and night shift. Still no word on the new job. I'm kinda giving up hope now. I have to let it go, its driving me crazy. It was a nice day here today. It was in the upper 50's. Hubby barbequed some meat (yummy) and we sat outside to eat it. I cant wait for spring so we can sit outside longer. Its almost march *YAY* |

Oh, I feel much better, thank you Pear.
But, Last night I was half tempted to go back to bed and STAY THERE! ![]() So, yesterday I was running around getting the house "picked up" after being sick. I Made a wonderful dinner, took a bath, got into my Jammies and then sat my butt on the couch to relax and watch American Idol. Just before the show started, I ran upstairs and got a load of laundry (for hubby) to put in the washer. Half hour into the show, hubby gets up to go to the bathroom and starts yelling "HELP"!!!!!!! I jump up and look at him and say "What"? All he will say (and screaming it) is HELP!!! Um...Couldn't he give a little more information then that? ![]() ![]() So, I run over to him. The Washer didn't shut off, when filling up and had flooded the laundry room, the hallway, mud room and closets. We spent the next few hours mopping up. Today, I have to re-clean all that.![]() I Think it's going to be a 2 pot coffee day.
