I swear, every time you post what you eat, you sound like one of those fancy magazines or TV shows and I start drooling.

I'm so glad you had a good day. Getting a "Trim" Does make us feel pampered and then to have the Dinner you had...Well, it sure does sound like a good day.

I hope tomorrow brings you another one. Sweet dreams and see ya in the morning (or afternoon for you).

Good Morning all!!!

Today is another "Snow" day and my youngest has school off (he also did yesterday).

I was planning on going to "Town" 40 minutes away, to do some shopping with coupons today...I also had an eye doctor's appt. That's a NO GO for today. The mountains are icey.

I have been doing my exercises every morning (15 minutes) and in the evening (about 30 minutes). I'm already seeing a difference.

My weight is still stable and no signs of IBS! YEAH!!!!!

Last night I made Chicken, Gravy...And Stuffing (the real stuff with lite/high fiber bread). I even had a little mashed potatoes. My portions were small on the stuffing and potatoes and mainly had the chicken and a salad. It was a nice "treat".

See, even in maintenance, I STILL am learning and re-adjusting.

Need to get a bunch of stuff done around the house. Cleaning, organizing and organizing my coupons.

Go out there and MAKE IT a Good day and fill it with "Better Choices".

Good morning everyone...Afternoon to you Ailuros!!!!

This is how I feel today: !!!

Got that? It's all of these things wrapped in to one big expression!!!!

I have one more essay to write...I have the reading done. So, it should not take long.

IT'S ALREADY WEDNESDAY!!!!!!! I have too much to do!!!

I will check in often today, but probably will not linger long.

It's snowing now, and is suppose to snow tomorrow night into friday!!! We are not allowed to back the moving truck up the driveway. So, Friday morning should be lots of fun. Will do my best at keeping the driveway cleared.

Have to get the youngest up, and take him to school soon, but wanted to stop in and say, "Hi!!!!"

Good morning, Tooter & L&F (actually, technically it's not morning here, but it's before lunch, so it still feels like morning ).

I'm feeling a bit down still (I wonder if flax will help with that?) so your post was just what I needed, Tooter. I'll do some exercise this afternoon - I really don't feel like it, but I know I'll feel better if I do it. I've been slipping a bit recently on the exercise front.

L&F - hang on, you'll be out of there soon .

Tooter...I'm so happy that you are beginning to "learn" that you are still beautiful...even at your new goal weight. It must be nice to eat the good stuff again...and still maintain. I'm proud of your decision to not be on a "diet" for the rest of your life, in an effort to maintain the lower weight.

Thanks Ailuros!!!!

I am just excited to get the "work" done, and am a nervous wreck about it ALL!!!! (Loading the truck, driving the 26' truck with a car (trans) port attached that far in the snow, and unloading the thing all the way up to the third floor)!!!! It will feel good to just get to that point, and return the truck!!!!

Right now...I'm in a panic about getting ready for it all, as I only have today and tomorrow...friday the truck will be here!!!!

Hi all! Pear and Ailluros, I hope you're both feeling better.

Tooter, happy to see you allowing yourself to relax. Hopefully your IBS will stay at bay.

Click - sooo happy for you! But this one thing struck me - why aren't you "allowed" to back the truck into the driveway? Huh?

Jean - hope your cleaning is done and you can relax and enjoy your visit!

Have a great one, all!

Morning gals,

I'm feeling better today. Got some better news this morning. Basically hubby was told to apply for that job again when it becomes a full time position, so we'll keep our fingers crossed. Meanwhile, he's working on some other things. He's super fed up right now, and rightfully so, I would have left his current position long ago.

I didnt sleep well last night, got to sleep finally around 1:30 or so, then the neighbor decided to bring his garbage cans in at 3:30, and it makes a rumbling noise that woke AJ up and he was barking at the noise. He's always a little nervous when daddy is gone, he thinks he's the man of the house. 5:30 the alarm goes off again. Ugh.

Click, I hope everything goes well with your move. Hopefully you dont get much snow. Why are you not allowed to back the truck up the driveway? Is this one last stab by your step father?

Tooter, glad your "new" woe is going well and that you are enjoying some new things, that stuffing sounds yummy. I dont know if I could stop at just a little bit.

Hippie, glad to see you this morning!

I have some good news to share, I'm finally back at 210. Hopefully now (keeping my unwaxed stem crossed) I can finally start making some headway and move down a little. I'm really hoping to see 209 soon.

Hugs to everyone!

Ailuros, I hope the flax starts making you feel better soon. I think a vacation to the carribean would pick up your spirits also. You might mention that to hubby. Its for health reasons, you know.

Thanks for the laugh, Pear . We went to the Caribbean once - about 20 years ago. We must be due another trip...

In the meantime, I've just been trying some retail therapy. There's an antique market just at the back of our house, and I just had to go out to post a letter, so I popped into the antique centre and bought two sets of beads: turquoise and carnelian.

About the only jewelry I wear is strings of beads. My favourite is a dark amber that I bought in Copenhagen when we went there for a weekend a few years ago.

Todays carnelian is from Libya and has unpolished beads, like this, only a deeper colour:

The turquoise is Afghan, and is made from graduated disc shaped beads, and has quite a lot of golden brown in the colour, which makes it softer and warmer, and will be better match for the sort of autumnal colours that I like to wear.

Everyone!!!!!

Just stopping in!!! Cleared the driveway..the sun is out. Hopefully, the driveway will melt all of the way off. The problem is....more snow tomorrow night into friday morning...the day that I load the truck.

The reason for not backing the truck up the driveway...they're afraid it will colapse the driveway, as it is a hill. We couldn't back the truck on the driveway when we unloaded neither. The difference is...if it snows...it will be slippery carrying everything down the steep driveway. It wasn't winter when we carried everything from the road, up the driveway. So, I salted one strip of the driveway, in hopes that in combination with the sun, it will melt down to the pavement.

Pear, I'm sorry that you didn't get a restful night's sleep...but I'm happy that you "feel" better.

Nice to see you, Hippie!!!!

I want a bead keychain. Will one of you make me one?

I've never made jewellery but you're tempting me to have a go. It would mean that if I saw some old beads but didn't like the stringing, I could redo them - or make them up into different things. Hmmm. I'll have to look into this . It sounds like fun.

Random thought for Click: We had talked about phone stuff for you awhile back. Look into Vonage, or some other internet phone systems. They are set up so that you have a regular phone line, and I've seen some very affordable prices! One that I looked at was only $199 per year, which works out to less than $20/mo. When I move back down to the Boise area this Summer, I think that's what I'm going to do. Just thought I'd throw that out there...

Also - through your school - look into some kind of Women's Center. Most campuses have these, and they're a great resource for aid and whatnot, especially for single women. Boise State, which is a very conservative place, even has an excellent one!
