*giggle* My Brother is a retired Lt. Col in the Army, One of my Sons was a Marine (Opps IS--Once a Marine always a Marine) My Father was in the Navy and my FIL was in the Air Force.

I wasn't mad or anything, I was "Teasing". There were some military "Jokes" mixed in with my post.

Do you know what the names stand for (These are jokes)

MARINES (My Ass Rides IN Navy Equipment) Why? Because the Marines are a division of the Navy but seperate. This is also where you get the "Men's department" joke.

ARMY (Aren't Really Marines Yet)! LOL (My brother hated that joke from my son...but he DID laugh).

I was just teasing ya!

Here's a joke that my Marine Grandpa told me when I was little:

Once there was a family of moles

Grandpa never told me any of these kinds of jokes, or sayings. Only the kind that Mom and Dad wouldn't like me to repeat....like mole-ASSES!!!!

I wish that you could come sit by me while I work. I like having someone to talk to while I am doing things.

You know.....after thinking about it.....while living here....I've had more people around me than I care to have, but have, also, felt the lonliest that I've felt in a long time!!!!! Weird....huh?
