Well, no WONDER!! Nothing like a clueless boss!

I have my fingers crossed for him and will keep him in my prayers.

Thank you

[continue rant] Last year, he was approached by the gentlemen of this group who told him they all agreed that he would be the best person for the job. It was pretty much in the bag, all his boss had to do was apply.

[additional rant]Hubby is going on vacation in March and put his time off request in awhile ago, and got it approved before he booked his tickets. Last week, he got an email from her complaining that he didnt ask for the weekend directly before and after off as well.

Tonight, he found his original email request, and it did include the weekends.... but c'mon, they're weekends!!! He doesnt normally work the weekends.

I hope you'll get internet access soon - we need to hear from you

Right. Just get right back on the wagon. Don't beat yourself up, we all do it. At least you know not to keep large quantities of Special K bars around .

With the microwave recipes? You will have to experiment with the time in the microwave and with if you need less or more water.

Start out with just one portion a day....Remember Flax has a lot of fiber in it. It cancels out any carbs it might have. So, your body might need time to adjust and you might live up to my "user name" for a little bit. Everyone is different, so wait and see.

I had the same problem with the being hot or cold. I'm back to normal now.

The Microwave bread is GREAT!! Like I said, there are so many things you can do with it. Toast it and put Cream cheese on it like a bagel.

Let me know how it works out, ok?

I've just tried the microwave bread. I may reduce the cooking time a little next time, but it tastes better than you'd expect . Only, you're right about needing a bit of time to adjust to all the fibre . I think I'd better slow down a bit .

*waving my magic wand over Ailuros* We Shall now call you, "TooterTOO" or "Tooter2"!!!!! You decide. lol

Infested with barking spiders, eh?

I really like the Bread, Ailuros. Depending on what shape/size container you microwave it in...You can do so much with it. I have one container that is round and the perfect size to make a Bun out of it. Great for a hambuger. Another is square and the perfect size for bread (slices). I would take it out of the container, let it "dry up" a bit, then slice it in 2 (down the middle) and it was perfect bread slices for toast or a sandwich...etc. Oh, another container was a smaller rectangle and I would cook it in that, then cut it up into squares (like corn bread) and serve it with a soup.

This is also great to put sugar free Jams/jellies on.

See, why I said ONE serving a day at first?

Let us know if/when you see any changes (other then the barking spiders).

It's not that bad . More burbling than barking .

I'm only really likely to eat this stuff for breakfast, because my husband won't eat it - he will sprinkle a bit of flax on yoghurt or cottage cheese, but he won't have "imitation bread" and doesn't like American muffins in any form. We tend to eat breakfast separately, but other meals together, and he works at home most of the time, so we usually eat together, and it's easier and more sociable to have things we both like.

It's really going to be difficult to tell how much of an effect the flax has on the way I feel - it's so variable anyway but I'll keep you posted.

I'm here, thanks for missing me.

I am doing marathon cleaning as I always do just before David arrives. I hate to admit it but I usually just sweep and dust between visits but when he's coming, I tear the house apart. So about every three months I deep/spring clean. Thus the drapes, carpets, walls and anything else that gets in my way. My grandson will do both cars this weekend.

I even had his marine friend, that stays here on weekends, in on the act. He was moving furniture and wiping down walls. Well, he did offer!

I went shopping yesterday and bought new bathroom rug/mat and matching towels. I find I will use things I've grown comfortable with til someone is coming.

Well, I best shower and meet me friends for a cuppa, hope to see y'all this afternoon.

Hello...Everyone!!!!

Well, I'm moving right along!!!! I didn't get everything done yesterday that I wanted done. So, I'm back at it today!!!! I don't know why, but when I get nervous, it's hard for me to concentrate. Thus, completing the week's worth of college courses...in just two days...has been a difficult task. I find myself sitting, and pacing, thinking about the move...and finding work. Then, I get tired...and fall asleep sitting up.

Ailuros:

Thanks for the uplifting advice about the Special K Bars yesterday. They are way too "special" for me to have around.

I hope that I will have internet soon too. I hope to walk in to my apartment, open up my laptop, start her up, and find that someone in the building has wireless...!!! What?!!! I know that it is cheating, but...I am going to have to watch every cent at first.

Sooooo, I "hear" that you are no longer just a "Goddess", but, now...a "Barking Goddess"!!!!: hyst: Do you "bark" orders around there now? You have to admit...it feels good to rip a$$...doesn't it?

Hope that you are feeling better today.

You haven't been here much today. So, that must mean that you are at work today.

Sorry to here about your hubby's job mess. Places of business...well, most of them now-a-days, just don't care about their employees much. They only care about themselves.
