I wish I could have seen the look on her face. I also wish I understood her motivations behind all this. If she need to leave "him" fine, do it, but dont drag more family into it.

Also, since she works at a furniture store, she SHOULD get you some new furniture to replace what you had to sell when you came. Just my two cents...

She could make all of the "looks" she wanted to, and say anything that she wanted to, and all I could do....is smile on the inside. In one week from today...I'll be driving the big truck back there.

I think that her motive was to get us here...knowing that it wouldn't work in this house...we'd be "stuck" here--in the area--and get a place of our own here. That way we'd live close by. To me...it was just a rotton trick. Especially, since I told her that I would never "move" here, and make any roots here...and that I would only be coming here to finish school. (This was way before I came here)

I tend to agree with you on the furniture part. It would be nice if, atleast some of the stuff would be replaced. Most of the stuff that I sold was expensive "Ethan Allen" furniture. Her store doesn't carry furniture like that, but it's still furniture. I managed to make sure that my youngest will have a bedroom set. My parents are giving me a couch and chair...and they'll get new. (I sold my 2 year old denim couch, and all of the other furniture from my living room.) Atleast, we'll have something to sit on.

OMG! OMG! OMG!!!!!!! i made WAFFLES this morning!!!!! The first few came out flat but made great crepes!! I added a half a scoop of vanilla protein powder to my egg batter.........it was after i already mixed them.........and they puffed up!!!! WOOHOO!!! Here's what they looked like.......top view is the waffle themselves........i tried to get a side view to show how thick they came out. Just like a regular waffle! The last pic is the finished product.......strawberries and cream belgian waffle!!!!! i'm going to add caramel davinci's the next time....they smelled and tasted like the real thing!!!! Oh and i added some cinnamon to the egg yolks too.

OH and the kids SCARFED these down with peanut butter and s/f syrup!!!!!
Our 16 yr old boy had seconds with the strawberries and cream and i don't think he could have eaten it faster!!!!! Now i KNOW how to get them to EAT!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: cool:

Yeah...I thought that storing for four years would get costly, and not very good for the furniture anyways. So, it's all gone.

I don't know about that. I hope to be financially comfortable someday though.

So, I've cleaned the bathroom, swept & scrubbed the kitchen & living room floors, cleaned up the side table in the dining room, ran a load of laundry, bought some new plants, got AJ's birthday present and went to Red Robin with hubby. Now he's at the hockey game and I'm in bed where its toasty warm. I would say its been a full productive day for being sick.

This is cute, I thought I would share this video of DD feeding the chickens with my dad. She would throw the chicken food in my dad's hair. She feeds the chickens by throwing the food and then running through the chickens... aw memories...
