I decided to wait until tomorrow. The problem is...when I left Minnesota, I had to get the carport in town...and the truck way out of town (Reservations made online). So, I decided before reserving a truck and carport online, I would call the local U-haul place...and see if he knows if he will have what I need for Friday...and just deal directly with him. If I can't, I can just do it online then.

I finally figured out what you meant by 'carport'. This whole time I was thinking that UHaul was extremely picky about having their vehicles covered at night.

I now realize that the carport is to tow your car

The youngest is very excited.

Sorry...Pear!!! Yes, a carport is something that all four wheels of your car are up off of the ground, and on a trailer...behind the truck.

They, also, make a car tow...that's where only the two front tires of the car are up off the ground, and your back tires are still on the ground.

Well...it's 10 o'clock...and I'm getting VERY EXHAUSTED. I don't know why...I can't even stay awake during the day this week? I sit here, and wake myself up snoring.

I'm going to try and get some sleep....lots to do in the next week!!!!

Oh Click, I am so excited for you. I sure am glad I stopped in tonight before going to bed. I would have felt completely left out if I hadn't found out today.

I think I figured out the carport thing just about the time I read your post, Pear... I sure hope your head clears soon and you still have some brain left!

Pear, do they also buff your skin when they wax it? I bet it will look nice and shinny! Your hubby better be careful, he might think he's married to a Slip & Slide!

Congrats, Tooter, in finding such a worthwhile hobby. I love your hubby's sense of humor. He was teasing, wasn't he?

Well, I am going to order my own Valentines gift. David gave me his credit card number so I can order five books that he thinks I will enjoy, he had me look them up online last night.

I have been so busy cleaning my house from the floor up. I mean totally! I even washed the curtains in my room and shampooed carpets.

Nick helped me rearrange the living room and we shopped for drapes this afternoon. Have you ever needed a complete makeover? I'm not stopping with my new body...Woo Hoo!!!

L&F I may not be able to make it for unloading the truck, but I'm sure I can get along for the house-warming party - once you've had time to bake your way through all those recipes you've been collecting. I bet you can't wait to get on your way .

Tooter, I found a smiley for you: .

And here's one for Pear: .

Hi...Jean!!!! I'm glad that you stopped by before bed too!!!

How nice....your Valentine's present....what are you getting David? How long until you see him again?

I bet that it sure feels nice to be in your nice clean house. It always feels sooo good to sit down, and look around at it...when it's done. Doesn't it? Everything that you're doing is such hard work, but very rewarding.

I'll tell you one of the things that I'm excited for. I, naturally---and I don't know why---have always---for as long as I can remember---wake up at 5 or 6 in the morning. Because the basement wasn't "Our Own Little Apartment", I haven't been able to get up and get my shower, and get on with my day. I can't wait to wake up, and get my shower...whenever I want to.....and take my bedtime shower too....and do my hair....and not "tip-toe" around every day...all day long!!!! I can feel the tightness from my chest leaving...just thinking about it!!!!!

The youngest told me that he was sooo excited, that he went in the basement, put his head in his pillow...and screamed in joy!!!!

You should have seen the look on my Mother's face last night. She walked around here with her "dumb-founded" look on her face....making her little "guilt" comments. She looked so defeated. I guess that her little plan of getting us here, and trapping us, didn't work....
