The reason that it is taking so long...is because I have to do all of this long distance. Mail the application with the fee...and then, she can do her thing. Well, the last couple of days...has been time waiting for my stuff to get to her via the mail.

Soooo...when I get the word...do you want to meet me there...and help unload the truck? I will be on the third floor!!! I shouldn't have much...I sold much of my belongings. However, I think that my Mother is giving me "some" of their furniture...that they want to replace.

Pear, I sure hope you feel better soon.

I've lost 5 lbs in the last two weeks (well, as of Monday, actually). I just weighed myself, and there hasn't been any movement. BUT, I measured my waist, and it's an inch smaller than on Sunday! Do you think this is really possible?! I know that a lot of times on Atkins one loses inches even when the scale doesn't move, but doesn't that seem like a drastic amount for just a few days?

to all! I'm exhausted. I'm going to go to bed when the kids do tonight!
Hippie, it sounds like you are moving in the right direction. Woo Hoo!

1/2 cup CO, melt in a bowl over boiling water
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1/2-3/4 c. bulk splenda (or equivalent)
1/2 tsp. butter nut flavoring or vanilla or any other you'd like

Mix together and fill 12 mini muffin cups, cover with plastic wrap and freeze. Super yummy!
I made these and they are rich so you don't overeat.

I also forgot my lunch this morning. I have cheese sticks at the office, not sure if that will do it for me today.

Click, that recipe sounds better to me than the bark. You are using MINI cupcake pans, not the regular ones right?

I'm still looking for a real fudge recipe made with cocoa powder and no cream cheese. The cream cheese fudge has that distinct taste, good, but not quite "it".

Pear, that is exactly what I was looking for and the fudge recipe that you posted came the closest if it wasn't for the aftertaste they call cooling with the erythritol. If you find one that works let me know. So far the almond bark satisfies me more than anything else I've made so far.

BTW, I did have some last night, about 1 Tbs. worth of VCO. I don't think I will give it, it's the one sin I will live with, I love it that much.

I think that everything is just going to come to a hault...until I know what's up with my move. I've followed everything to a tee, but just have felt hyper, and under the weather lately.
Click, it will come together for you, I'm sure, just continue to be patient and strong.

As long as you are staying constant during this stressful time, you should do fine and can look forward to doing your own thing in your own place.

Ailuros, I hope you get plenty of rest and come back recharged.

Oh no, thank you, Click, Chelli used to live on the third floor and I rarely went to visit... One thing is you will get plenty of exercise.

It sure is nice to see you back here...Jean!!!! I was worried that you'd disappear...after what the doctor said about your cholesterol.

I looked under the "main lobby" for you. I saw a thread that is geared around having "health problems"...such as high cholesterol. Maybe, if we check it out...there might be some helpful information in there?

So, you're not giving up the bark, eh? Well...would it really be full of cholesterol if it's a short-chained fat?

I was wondering how these would taste with some chocolate (Unsweetened...of course) added, and maybe peanut butter...or coconut...and almonds. Heck...maybe just put it "ALL" in there!!!

Hey...Pear!!! Maybe, if we put it "ALL" in there...we'd have to use the "REGULAR" sized muffin tins!!!

You could always sell your body at night.

Just take things one step at a time. Things have a strange way of working out. You'll hear about (or get) a job from the most unlikely places.
