Pear, according to the two Dr.'s the liquid (whey) contains the (sugar) lactose so you would be draining off the carbs. That is how I came up with the 4 grams per cup of yogurt cheese.

Thanks for hanging in there with me today. Did I miss something, was Click going to be away today that we know of?

Hello...gals!!!

Yes....Jean!!! Stay away from the coconut oil!!!

Well...today marks my four week mark!!!!

Soooo.....we'll see what the magic scale says this week!!!!! Hopefully, it will say something good!!!! (Like maybe the magic woosh fairy came during the week.....)

Yesterday's Menu:

Batch of bark

3 eggs scrammbled in butter
bacon

small salad with pepperoni, cucumbers, lettuce, romaine, and fresh spinach leaves
dressing-glop of mayo with splenda

browned hamburger with cabbage-cooked in a stick of butter (the whole batch)...I had a serving out of it

1/4 c. creamed herring-5g. of carbs (Mmmmm!!! I love the stuff....that's why I had to measure it....otherwise would've ate the whole jar!!!)

Candida is yeast and when they die off, they can give all kinds of symptoms, but I have never heard of the "burning".

The main reaction from Die off would be stomach upset. Flu like symptoms, even the "runs". Why? Because as they are dying they relase toxins into your body. Your body goes through that (getting worse before it gets better).

The "die Off" would not be "Right away". It would happen awhile after you ate the coconut oil. The yeast would have to have time to actually DIE and then toxins be released.

Yours is not a normal die off reaction. Yours was RIGHT away! Which would lead me to believe it is an allergic reaction.

I don't think you should take it anymore at all.

Please stop the coconut oil. Yes, I believe it has great benefits but it's not a "miracle" drug. It' not a magic bullet. You don't have to use it to be successful at low carb at all.

I just am really concerned about this being your 3rd time, immediate reaction... and I feel there is no doubt that it's the Coconut oil.
Since all that I ever practically ate was bread, chips, popcorn, noodles, rice, candy, poptatos, etc..., I think that I have a yeast build-up. The coconut oil gives me the "runs"!!! After a little stomach ache ....this really stinky sh$t comes out...and I'm not sh$tting you neither!!!

I'm happy to report that something embarrassing has disappeared since taking the coconut oil...

I used to have a burning , itchy, smelly rash under my bazoogas and around my belly button.... it's gone now....the itching and burning on the "Freditta" area went away too!!!!

Yesterday, I looked in 4 stores for Cracklins...even Wal-Mart. Couldn't find them anywhere!!!! Are they in a bag? What color is the bag/box? It is really annoying here....I have a hard time finding any of the stuff that we need!!! This area (where I live) is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo stupid....I can not stand it!!!

That's a very normal reaction and I can say that's DIE OFF! That's a good thing. If it bothers you, you can cut back...If it's not bad, you can work through it and it will all balance out as the flora in your intestines gets balanced.

For goodness sake, don't try to do this ALL at once. What are you trying to do? Kill yourself? One thing at a time.

Just focus on your "Better Choices" with eating right now.

I might need to take a "Small" break here guys. I'll check in when I can, but right now I'm a little "Burned out" with other things that have been going on.

I just need a small break to recharge. It has nothing to do with you guys or this thread (I love it). So I might not be posting much for the next few days, but I'll be back full force later.

Take care of each other, keep each other motivated and laughing. Save me my "seat". It's just a small break.

Well....I weighed myself....and.....after a week....NO CHANGE!!!!

Soooooo...I guess that I've only lost 11 pounds in a month!!!!

I can't believe that I've not had any holiday treats, and there was no loss in a whole weeks time!!!!!! This really sucks!!!!

I guess that there will be no Onederland for Christmas!!!!

Week #1- 2 pounds lost

Week #2- 6 pounds lost

Week #3- 3 pounds lost

Week #4 - 0 pounds lost
--------------------------------------------

4 Weeks....11 pound loss!!! That sounds good in itself...but no loss in a whole week (not even 1 pound) worries me!!! What do you do in a situation like this? Eat Carbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????? ??? Shock the system????????? (Or is that a learned habit?)
