Thanks, Tooter!!! I haven't any experience with Kimkins...other than seeing her on the news...which like I've mentioned in the past...brought me to you (which is a good thing!). Well, it's a long process and alot of red tape. Thus the reason the thread is so important. She's had her assets frozen, but doesn't go to court until next year. She is also trying to do other things legally, to slow things down. Things don't happen as fast as they do in the Movies.

The other concern would be that soon alot of people will be frantic about losing weight at New Years. Everyone is scared of a big influx Of (Unknowing) people showing up at her site by doing "Searches" on the net. People are trying to get links taken down and Warning sites coming up on those Searches.

There is LOTS of work to be done and will be for a long while yet.

There's always something going on in that thread, but ya have to wear your "Big Girl Panties" when going in there. lol It's pretty much "No Holds Barred". It's not always going to be "Pretty", but you wear your "Big Girl Pants" and work through it.

I have been on this site since the beginning (and on the original one before this). I pretty much ignored Kimmer when she was here. Did my own thing. I did end up leaving for awhile. I got sick of hearing about Kimkins and the awful advice she was giving out. No one really new (or I should say could PROVE) the stuff about Kimmer back then. If someone would try to speak up, it was taken as a Personal attack and they were given warnings and tons of posts deleted.
It was the only way that people knew to handle it back then. It also caused her to manipulate posts and get more people to believe her.

Well, when I came back on here, she was gone (had her site going then), but her influence was still a Major part here.

I stayed out of it. My Attitude was "Good for her, but I'm doing my own thing", when someone would bring her up. I just stayed out of it. Figured it didn't concern me.

Well, when the Woman's World article came out, I picked it up because I had remembered her on here. I saw the "Pictures" in there and was shocked!! That wasn't HER, all those people were right about the "Fake" pictures years ago. If they were right about THAT, what else is this woman lying about? What actually was she telling people to do?

The "Fascination" thread started. People were asking questions just like me and once again...People were trying to get us to shut up. At first the Mods handled it just like they always had. Hey, you can't have fights on a Message board, can ya?!! Believe Me, I got WARNINGS! But the more that came out, the more I realized what she was actually DOING and that people were actually STARVING!!!!! All the stuff started coming out. I was getting more upset by the minute. I pushed pretty Hard in the beginning. Believe me, I had alot of people not too thrilled with me (And there were others like me too). People wanted us to SHUT UP!! Called us "haters" and "Jealous". Something awesome started to happen. People's eyes started to open up. Only a few at first. Even the site owners eyes and the Mods. They starting allowing posts to STAY, instead of deleting them. Lots of yelling and fighting...but finally information was getting out.

Then we kept trying to get people to come out of Kimkins. We realized they were brainwashed just like in a cult. It wasn't going to be easy. It wasn't always going to be pretty. We had to prove, over and over and over again that Kimmer was lying and it wasn't just about the pictures. The Health Damage that was being done, The Cultish stuff. The lies, the Fraud, the History of Kimmer doing stuff like this.

Then one of the Members who came out of Kimkins got so mad that she started a lawsuit.

So...In a nutshell. That's my involvement.

Well....I'm proud of you....Tooter!!! You are a very caring person...and I know that you work very hard to help others!!! I understand that KK's dieting tactics are wrong...and that you deserve a big pat on the back (and a ) for stopping this woman from destroying peoples lives, and taking their money....as you, along with the others have helped bring her down!!!!

And, yes, newbies that really are tired of living in the FAT world will be tempted....because we are just so sick of life this way!!! Like I said...I saw those thin people on the news complaining...and I thought to myself...they are skinny though....so, why are they complaining? Then, I found you!!!

Speaking of Coconut oil, Didn't Jean say she tried it again and it did something to her tongue?

Well, I'm going to have a couple of Eggs with Butter. I'm going to make a batch of "Bark" (haven't had it in a few days) and a batch of LC Peanut Butter fudge.
Then, I have to fight the crowds and so some more shopping.

BTW, My hubby has lost about 15 lbs!! He is back on low carb with me. Has been for the last couple of weeks.

He is looking GOOD!!!

Yes!!! She only had a Tblsp (tsp.?) too!!!! She mentioned that maybe she would try only 1/4 today!!! She so wants to be able to use the stuff!!! I think that she is allergic to the stuff!!! Do you have any other suggestions for her...another kind of healthy fat to take?

Olive oil, Butter, Lard...She know's all this, I think she truly wanted the "Healing" Properties of Coconut Oil that other's don't have.

I'll do a mini search and see what I can come up with, With reactions to coconut oil.

I don't know...That's 2 times she had a reaction to something and coconut oil was involved both times. I don't know if it's a case if she just has to build up slowly or not. I don't have that kind of knowledge, but I'll try and find out.

Well, from what I have read there are some people that have all kinds of reaction from coconut oil at first. The blame is on the "Die off" of yeast and it can have different symptoms for everyone.

Maybe the 1/4 tablespoon is a good idea.

Since taking coconut oil for so long, I don't have that kind of reaction at all. I tend to forget that some people really DO have to go slow.

Jean might just be one of those people who have to go REALLY slow, until things come into a "Balance" with Candida/yeast.

Well...Tooter...I did the same thing as yesterday!!! I ate the bark...until I felt just a little sick ....took all 5000mg of biotin at once (instead of sprinkling it in throughout the day) with 32 ounces of water!!! We'll see how I do today!!!

Here's a good one for you (I'm starting to get a little lippy--not a good thing!!!):

My Dad was complaining about my bras...they were out drying!!! I looked at him, with an evil eye, and told him: "They are just bras...and they are drying....but....if they bother you that much....you could use them for ear muffs!!!". He didn't know what to say...except...," ummmm....my ears aren't that big!!!" That shut him up for a while with his constant b1tching!!!!

They tell you that the haters are against you and want to sabbatoge your diet, that they only way to lose weight is to stay and work the plan. I realized that it wasnt healthy and I had too much going on in my personal life, that I quit. I was going to go back when I emailed a friend who told me what was going on, so I ended up here, first with South Beach and now Atkins.

Kimmer banned me herself. I asked too many questions about the People magazine she was showcasing on the front page of Kimkins. It showed a gal from LCF who "researched plans like Kimkins" and Kimmer was using that to show off the success of her plan. I politely told her that was false advertising. She didn't like it and banned me.

Anyhoo... I'm sipping my yummy coffee with heavy cream and syrup. I work today and tomorrow and then I'm off until the new year!!! *WOOHOO*
