SF Chocolate Fondue

INGREDIENTS:

2/3 cup dry unsweetened Dutch cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup milk (substitute heavy cream???)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup Splenda sugar substitute

PREPARATION:

Place cocoa powder, cinnamon, salt, and milk in a blender. Pulse until combined. Pour mixture into a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil.

Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often, until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Whisk in sugar substitute and vanilla, stirring until dissolved and smooth.

Pour into a fondue pot to keep warm and serve with fruit slices as dippers.

Yield: 8 servings (1/4 cup each)

Well...I really can't explain it!!!

Today is the first day, since I started this new WOE,(The day after Thanksgiving) that I actually have felt great...full of energy.....and not hungry AT ALL!!!

Maybe....if there were carbs in the gyro meat...my body needed to be tricked a little bit?!?

Today's menu:

Bark
Water, Water, Water, and more Water

Apple Bee's Dinner:

( No...I did not order my favorite--Fettuccini Alfredo Bowl with Shrimp)

9 oz. sirloin with grilled shrimp and melted Italian cheeses on top
2 sides of seasonal veggies (Broccoli, squash, and the carrots that I did not eat!!!)

Treated myself to Diet Cola---gave that up too with my new WOE

Girls, I don't think Winslow is coming back. Nor is she going to answer my emails.

I went back over her last posts and I think something happened in the "Fascination" Thread with her and someone else.

It looks like she then shut down PM's. Must have left, Thought about it, and decided to not be a member any more.

I'm guessing at all this. But This is what I am "Gleaning".

To be honest, I think they got it from their Granddad, can you see how strong their jaws are? This picture was taken less than a month before he was killed.

This was taken with my cell phone of a picture so it isn't very good.
