Oh yes, my menu for the day:

B: Coffee with heavy cream and SF syrup
L: Pork with Peanut Sauce, 2 eggs (After I ate the eggs, I felt like it was too much, I think my appetite is shrinking)
D: Pork Chili Verde, Ice Cream Bar
17 carbs total

Pear, how does your hubby feel after the cereal? I sure hope it didn't affect him.

Nick spent the afternoon in Urgent Care with his best friend and his wife. They ate at KFC last evening and thought they were going to die before getting better. They gave them meds, IV's and tests for e-coli. He had to be given morphine for back pain (discharged from USMC after back injury) from throwing up so much and she passed out as Nick was wheeling her out to take them home and they had to treat her again. The stomach pain was unbearable.

It makes me feel better about cooking at home now and not eating out as much as I used to. I love KFC.

Click, look at it as a lesson for the future and you will soon know if it isn't a good food for you. The fact that you made other good choices made my day.

The last gluten enzymes he tried (several months ago) made him feel weird, not painful but a dull nagging sensation. This time the enzymes worked for him!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your son's friends. I love KFC too, but I dont think I'll eat there again. Sounds like an extreme case of food poisoning. I hope its not ecoli. I do hope they will be ok. How awful!!!

Jean...sorry to hear about your family's illness from good old KFC!!! Hope all is well.
Thanks for the encouragement!!! Hopefully, by friday...I won't even be able to tell that I ate meat...that may have had carbs in it!!!
