Deer is VERY lean and you have to add fat to it to cook it.

I don't think we can get good Lamb over here. Not unless you know someone who has a farm. The only "lamb" I have really ever had (besides at a resturant years ago with a Mint sauce) is by Gyros At a Greek resturant. It was awesome.

My Sister won a trip to New Zealand a few years ago. They eat alot of Lamb over there. It shocked her because she really liked it. She had wanted to cook some when she got back to the States, but never could really find any (especially in a Hick Town in PA). lol So, Other then Gyros, leg of lamb or lamb with Mint sauce, I don't think We are really exposed to it over here.

MMMMMmmmm!!! Gyros!!!!! I love them!!!!

So, you take 200mg 2x's/day of the Alpha Lipoic Acid? Right? Did you notice a change in your energy levels when you started taking it?

I still can not beleive that Winslow didn't even answer your e-mail !!!

I hope Winslow's OK. Maybe she's just got computer problems?

Tooter, New Zealand lamb is very good, though I don't usually eat it, because English and Welsh lamb are good too, so it seems a bit perverse to ship it all the way round the world rather than eat the local stuff. The one we had tonight came from the farmers market.

Yes. I actually got out of the habit of taking my vitamins when My Son, DIL and granddaughter stayed with us for 3 months. I also got away from my exercise.

Just started getting back into the old routine of things and back on My supplements.

I think the biggest thing with my energy levels is the coconut oil and the Alpha Lipoic Acid. But, Who knows? It could be the biotin too.

All I know is that the supplements work for me (when I take them).

Good....hopefully, they will help me too!!! I just feel tired!!!

Here's what I ate today:
browned hambuger with cabbage--with LOTS of butter
1 can of albacore (no cheap stuff in this house) tuna--with mayo
1 ounce cream cheese with sweetner
pork rinds
bark
2 peices of turkey pepperoni
3 eggs scrambled in 2 Tblsp. butter
4 pieces of bacon

Does this look all right? I was kinda' limited at supper...everyone else had mostacolli and garlic bread (MMMMmmm....garlic bread!!!)

It's really a downer....I feel smaller, and then...I look in the mirror (sideways) and there it is .....my big gut!!!! It "feels" like it shouldn't be there!!!

You did good, Lost and found.

I can't eat Pork rinds, but I can eat Pork Cracklins. Sort of like pork rinds but better. Not airy and really crunchy. I just bought some a Wal-mart the other day. I dip them in a little cream cheese and chives. Fills ya up fast.

Lost and found, you should have taken pictures of yourself (just for you) that you could look at and see the change. It's so hard for us women to truly see ourselves in the mirrors.

You have done AWESOME!!! Each day you are getting closer and closer to your goal. Patience, Grasshopper!

Good evening gals!I just had the yummiest dinner of cold thin sliced pork roast and two tablespoons of the spicy peanut sauce, then an ice cream bar for dessert. This just doesnt taste like dieting. My Taubes book arrived today, guess what Ill be reading tonight.Something I've noticed is that my skin isn't as dry as usual.Hubby found our favorite place to buy dutch groceries. They had moved and we thought they had closed down. He surprised me by bringing home rumbeans. It was super sweet of him, but they are full of sugar. I thanked him and put them in the cupboard "for later". I feel bad about it, he was so excited to give them to me all wrapped up.

I'll have to look at Wal-Mart for Pork Cracklins. I swear the pork rinds are what keep me on track. When I crave chips....I just eat the pork rinds. It doesn't take many...and the craving is gone!!!

Thanks for the vote of confidence....Tooter!!!! You're a true friend!!! Love ya!!!!

How's the weight training going? I remember someone giving you tips on that. I think that you had requested info on exercises for your arms?

JustKim is a Certified Trainer. She sent me an email FULL of alot of information (Thanks again, Kim). I haven't started yet. I have saved her email and I will start after the Holidays. I believe Kim was also a Body Builder and even competed, so she Knows her stuff (It's her job).

Good Morning! How are you doing, this fine day? I'm going to run to the store today and get my Cheese, so I can make that Crab Ricotta/Quiche thing for dinner tonight. I also need to pick up veggies and lettuce for salads.

I have SO MUCH last minute shopping to do. I guess I will be doing that Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

I hate this last minute stuff. I had all the intentions in the world of starting and finishing early this year. I actually started just days before Thanksgiving, but never got back to it.

Now my butt is up against the wall, and I have to get it done in these next few days.

Hopefully, I will LEARN and not do this again next year.

I am usually done by Thanksgiving...I have been using my fall loan disbursement check to do this. I watch for clearance items all year long...and put the items away for Christmas. I had to use all of my loan to move....and spent the rest living here. So, everyone except for my boys, will have Christmas this year ....I had everyone else's bought before coming here. So, hopefully, I can..atleast...get them each something small, and wrap it up with a "coupon" for February (my next loan disbursement!!!)

Good morning, L&F, Tooter. I'm trying to get everything finished by tomorrow because we're going away on Thursday. Most of the shopping is done, but I have lots of wrapping to do today.
