Hello Everyone!!!!!

School is delayed 2 hours this morning!!! My youngest was so happy!!! The nice thing is that the school announced it last night...instead of the ususl...right before getting ready to walk out the door!!!

Well, yesterday...was one of those days!!!! My Dad started b1tching to my Mom about my school books being out...Do you guys know any magic way to do your work....without actually having the work out in front of you? So, I picked it all up, and didn't do my work until he went to bed last night!!! I'm so sick and tired of his complaining, lazy, b1tchy a$$!!! If I can't comfortably do my work...how in the he11 am I going to live here, and go to school...especially if accepted in to a Nursing program (HOURS of work every week...with about 15 books!!!)?

So...anyways...after that, I went outside and shoveled....the strip behind my car had thigh high drifts. The driveway looks kinda funny!!! I shoveled the strip behind my car, and the strip behind Mom's car!!! That leaves a strip in the middle not done!!!! It's a long driveway on a hill...with the middle strip un done!!!! (Behind Dad's garage door!!!) Anyways...I was out there from about 1pm...until about 7:30pm....I couldn't lift the shovel anymore. I was so sore that I could hardly move my legs----my back doesn't care for shoveling too much!!! So, I figure that with that many hours spent doing heavy labor....I got a pretty good work-out...and let out some frustration chucking shovels full of snow...as hard as I could!!!!

Tooter...I made some more bark!!! I had been looking all over the place for the unsweetened coconut. Finally, right before going to a health food store...I found some in a grocery store called "Krogers". A whole bag for $1!!!! The bark is tasting better and better...I put more sweetner and vanilla in it....with the coconut and walnuts....it was really good--not bitter!!!

Now, I just need to get the ingredients for those pecan pies!!!! (My favorite pie!!!!)

Yesterday:
Batch of bark
cabbage and browned hamburger....cooked with a bunch of butter
4 shrimp...without the cocktail sauce
salad...with all of the greens, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese
"choice" rib-eye steak.....and yes....I ate all of the fat...and "choice" has more fat!!!! (My brother...with his little scraps of fat on his plate...asked me if I didn't have any steak yet...my plate was bare...not a scrap of anything left on there!!!)

AND.....not forgetting my 5000 mg of biotin sprinkled throughout the day!!!

Yep, you can find it in the vitamin section. Wal-mart seems to have the cheapest.

Ya know, If I could...I would eat it every day. Heck, every meal.

Maybe I should start the "Magic Ribeye Diet"?

I KID!!!!!!!!

But I sure do love Ribeyes! I'm snowed in and no way to go to the store and lost and found has got me craving a Ribeye! *sigh* I guess I'll have to break out the "Steak-ums" for lunch, but somehow I don't think they are going to "Cut it". lol

Thanks, Tooter...you're such a sweetie!!!

About the ribeye....it's just a piece of meat!!!! My parent's eat expensively like that....I can think of many other things that I would rather do with money!!! It was a nice treat though. Everyone else had mastacolli (spelling?) as well!!! Now, that...to me....looked good and tempting!!!!

Ok, today's menu.

B: 3 eggs with extra butter

L: Steak salad (made with steak-ums) Oil and vinegar dressing.

D: I'm going to make my ricotta pie, I'm also going to make a crust with Almond flour, parmesan cheese. I'll use the base of my Ricotta pie and then add crab meat, chopped green onions and some mayo. I'll serve it with a tossed salad. So, it will be like a Low carb/seafood quiche, but richer.

Well, scratch dinner. It would seem my sons used all the mozzarella cheese I had been saving for the Ricotta pie.

I have no clue what dinner will be now.

I hope all of you who are snowed in stay warm and safe. I keep hearing about how awful that storm was.

I found that .2lbs this morning. Or maybe it found me, not sure. But I'm holding pretty steady so I cant complain.

I had to laugh, Click, when you shoveled behind everyone's cars but your dads. I'll bet he was grumpy this morning when he found he couldn't go to work unless he shoveled first. It must be a huge area to take six hours to shovel.

Tooter, I'm sorry about the missing mozerella. I hope you can find a different cheese to use.

Thanks, Pear. I'm Afraid to use something else. I have Cheddar, but that would ruin or "mask" the taste of the Crab Meat. I don't want to ruin it, so I'll just wait to make it.

They Might just be stuck with Chili Dog Casserole. lol

He hasn't seen it yet!!!! He's off until the after the holidays!!! You see...my mom has a mustang...and it won't make it up the driveway...unless, it's shoveled and salted. I personally think that Dad likes it when she can't go anywhere alone!!!! He said that he normally doesn't worry about shoveling...because he has 4 wheel drive. (Good excuse to sit on his a$$, and the ability to control her every move!!!) Well, my Mom doesn't like it when she can't drive herself. So, I shoveled her strip too. Looks pretty funny!!! I will probably go out and finish this morning, but it did feel good to be mean for the day!!!

By the way....QUIT WEIGHING YOURSELF EVERY 10 MINUTES WILL YA'!!!!!

Tooter....I think that we need to throw someone's scale away!!!!

Kids...ya' gotta love 'em!!! You wonder where all of the food goes....bottomless pits!!!

Planning on using something for a recipe, only to find it gone...is one of my pet peaves!!!! Your dinner sounded soooooo good too!! Being snowed in doesn't help the matter either!!!!

Your chili dog casserole sounds good too though!!!

We've just had mutton with curly kale and a few haricot beans. The mutton was salted and cooked very slowly with olive oil, garlic and rosemary - I'd done it a few weeks ago, just heated it up tonight, so it was very easy and good winter comfort food, but without too many carbs .

Hi Gals, just checking in before going back to work.

B: coffee/creamer and a square of cheese
L: salmon with mayo, 2 slices of bacon, 4 slices of cheese and pepperoni
D: Not a clue, probably pork with peanut sauce

Click, I agree I shouldn't be weighing every day, however, if I'm messing something in my diet up, I'd like to know before the week is ended. I have a good justification, I guess. I hate to be left wondering and/or disappointed. So I will probably continue to weigh everyday.

How is the weather back east? It is thawing out at all?

Ailluros, I've never had mutton, what does it taste like?

Just checking in before I have to run some more errands.

Click, you go girl! I'm glad you worked off your frustrations and helped your mom, to boot.

Would it help to use a magic marker to label the foods you buy for your WOE? Or would that start another war? I can't understand others not wanting to do everything possible to aid you on your quest for better health. Rats!

Thanks, Jean!!!

IT WOULD START A WAR!!!!! Some days the thought of making a certain person mad is so appealing, but not really my nature....so, it's hard!!! It's almost as though I am resented for trying to change my life...by a certain someone!!!! Therefore, I almost feel that some days, he purposely tries to sabatoge my efforts!!!! OH WELL!!!! I'm a stronger person than he is...he's just a miserable, depressed, piece of something that I won't say!!!!
