L & F, I have always been an emotional eater. If I was bored, anxious, etc. I would eat!

I added nuts and coconut oil and only ate 1/4 at a time but I think I have to start back with less when the irritation heals.

Thanks for responding.

Yeah...stop it all (coconut oil with nuts), see if it goes away. If it does...give it awhile. Then, maybe start out with only one Tblsp. a day for a week, then two...and so on!!! Maybe that's the problem!!! I hope so anyways!!!

Thanks, L & F, we shall see. It is nice to discuss our problems with eating, isn't it? I haven't had anyone to kick ideas back and forth with til now.

Tippytoes Read the fascination threads. Ex Kimkins admin, great speller .
Tell your daughter to do her on-line work as soon as it's available...every week!!! Just some advice from someone who knows!!! Then, if she has questions...there's time to converse back and forth with the instructor via e-mail. Also, because the on-line work is easy to put off...it will get done- if it's done right away!!!

I forgot to mention that I was also eating 1/2 C whole cream yogurt in the evening. It has always helped me sleep but I think with the added oil/fat from the nuts and coconut, I was overdoing it.

When people work together it forms a support system that rocks.

Were you having the bark around the same time as your yogurt? Maybe when you start back up with the bark...eat it in the morning...and keep your yogurt for evening!!

Yes...in school they call it brainstorming!!!

L & F, I did have both in the evening, you make a good point and I will make sure I don't eat both on the same day that I start out again with the bark.

Pear, thanks for reminding me, I think...

It seems you're all chatting away while I'm asleep, then I come here and talk to myself while you're all sleeping! I'll make it online when everyone's here one of these days .

Morning all! Well, I see you have been a chatty crowd over night

I at that danger point in my WOE right now. I'm simply not seeing movement on the scales and am close to that "what the heck, this isn't working anyway" stage. I ate some micro popcorn with my ds last night and my hands feel all bloated this morning. Plus I had a headache all day yesterday, which doesn't help my frame of mind.

Had an incredibly good dinner last night. Apple Glazed Porkcops (ala Dana Carpender - so on plan!) and Lemon Butter Broccoli. Oh, it was sooo good. My ds, who is almost 9 (I can't hardly believe that! It seems like last year he was just learning to walk!) thought it was awesome, too!

I think I'm starting to get bored with my meals, so time to mix them up again. I get lazy and don't make much variety - and that ends up killing me in the end. I think I hit the recipe sections some time today.

Morning gals,

The scale is starting to move back in the right direction. I'm at 222.8 which is still alot higher than my low of 220 (that I so desperately wanted to break). Lets hope it comes back off plus some.

Those Apple glazed porkchops sound good Mom. How much apple was in those?

HUGZ to all.

Hoping to see Tooter, and maybe even Winslow today.

Good morning MomToEli!!!

What ever you do....do not give up!!! I haven't hit one of those points where you are not losing....yet....and I do not look forward to it. So, I do not have any hints as to what might help. Maybe Tooter might have some ideas!!! I do know, though, that you shouldn't obsess over the scale!!!! Stay away from it for a week and follow your plan....maybe induction again for a week or so?

Good morning Pear!!!

Please follow your program to the tee...and leave out the atkins bars for awhile!!! Weigh yourself in a week...instead of every day....you'll probably get a nice surprise!!!

Yay!!! I have the house to myself again today for a short while!!!
Last night, after supper...I started to do the dishes. I was told to stop...they couldn't hear the freakin t.v.! My mom went on to say that she'd do them after the program was over!!! Baked chicken pans!!! Do you think that any dishes got done? NO!!! So, this morning I was doing them again...and I wasn't smiling!!! My mom had the nerve to comment about the look on my face. So, I proceeded to tell her that tonight I'm doing the dishes...right after dinner...not 12 hours later when everything is dried and stuck on 10x's worse!!!! She had the nerve to say to just leave them...and she'll do them tonight!!! (With her disgusted look on her face!!!) I said, "Ya!!! Right!!!".

You guys.....I just can not stand it here....and I'm afraid that I am trapped here. Unless...which I won't do (I already have $20,000 in student loans)....I quit school and just get the hell out of here.

L&F, what a situation you are in. I'm scratching my head too.

Can you work and go to school part time?
Can your son get a job and help out financially?
Would taking a seasonal job hurt your financial aid?

There must be a good answer somewhere.
