I really am very lucky. I don't have to go in unless I want to. Today we had some paper work to do and papers I had to sign. Got it done and then was the "Gofer" the rest of the day.

Hi, there...Sweetie!!!!

I've missed you!!!!

What type of business do you own? Yes...I'm nosey!!! Actually, I just feel like I know you so well already.... that I'm curious!!!

I can not believe how difficult it is to buy things that we can eat....I mean besides the norm!!!! It's like you have to look, and look, and look!!!

I ate my batch of bark today!!! It didn't "slow" me down at all!!! At first it made me "faster" (Ha! Ha!) I used the mini muffin pans and put 2 Tblsp. of the stuff in each one...made a triple load. So, 6 candies!!! They did just pop right out when done. Didn't have any coconut, but I grinded up some almonds, and after putting the liquid in the tins, I added these nuts that were put through the grinder. I need to find a way to make the splenda packets dissolve better!!! Maybe, heat the mixture more? The coconut will really be good in it...after I take the time to go searching for it!!!

Sorry, I have no advice for the heartburn. I havent had it myself. You could try some calcium carbonate (or Tums) and see if it helps. Does Tums come sugar free?
Hey...Pear!!!

Is that how it happens for you? After you drink so much water that you are drinking more than what is coming out...you experience a whoosh? Just wondering!!!

I'm not weighing myself until friday!!! I hope that I have another good week!!! Friday it will be three weeks!!! I decided to only weigh myself once a week...I go crazy when the scale moves slightly in the wrong direction, or not at all.

1/2 C pumpkin puree

1 skinless, boneless chicken thigh broiled
1/2 C cooked cabbage

1 6 oz steak broiled
1 1/2 C broccoli
1/4 C jicama
1 Tbs butter

1 carbquik biscuit
1 Tbs butter
1 C whole milk/heavy cream yogurt

I was hoping the yogurt would settle my stomach but no such luck.

Does anyone see something that could be a problem? So far this morning, I have just had an Atkins drink.

Jean
Two questions ... how are you eating the pumpkin? Just plain? And second, what are you drinking, and how much?

Hi, everyone!!!!

Just dropping in before bed!!!! (10:15pm)

Dad was a jerk today. So, didn't eat much:

While he was away this morning....
4 eggs-scrammbled in 2 Tblsp. butter with garlic powder and cayene pepper
4 pieces of bacon

This is where he came home...

1 peice of deli ham dipped in mayo
2 pieces of bark = (4 Tblsp.= 1 batch)
hot and spicy pork rinds
1 piece of Loraine Swiss Cheese
hard salami-dipped in mayo

water, water, water, and more water!!! (Helps me "feel" full!!)

During Christmas break, I am trying to find a way to get back to Minnesota to get my name on the waiting list for somewhere to live....hope that I get to!!! The only way that I won't, will be because of $$$$.

Last edited by Lost and Found : 12-11-2007 at 09:31 PM. Reason: forgot butter, garlic powder and cayene pepper

Thanks for the link, Tooter.

MomToEli, I always drink at least 100 oz. of water a day and I ate the pumpkin cold and plain, right out of the bowl.

I Knew that! How did I forget that? Maybe because my last batch was made with mint. Thanks, MomToEli!

Well, I was tired from work yesterday and didn't make LindaSue's White Castle Casserole recipe (I'm making that tonight instead).

Last night we just had (what I like to call) a "Dutch Lunch". I Cut up some Low Carb Lavash bread in cracker size squares and fried them in Coconut Oil. Drained them on a paper towel and salted them.

I then Laid out Sliced meat, salsa, cheese, hot spinach/artichoke dip...and a veggie tray with ranch dip. It was good and a nice "Treat".

Today I have carpets to scrub and Laundry to do. Can you tell I am thrilled? lol

Have a Great day filled with "Better choices".

Ugh, I'm up ANOTHER pound this morning. I'm getting frustrated. I know its (mostly) water because my body fat percentage is still going down.

White Castle Casserole sounds really good.

Pear, Pear, Pear.....do we need to throw your scale away? Quit weighing yourself EVERY day!!!! Stick to your plan, and weigh yourself in a week.....you'll be pleasantly surprised!!! DO NOT LET THE SCALE DESTROY YOUR OUTLOOK ON THINGS!!!!! Do you feel good? Have you stayed on the straight and narrow with your plan? Drinking your water? Clothes fitting different? YES, YES, YES, and Yes....the scale doesn't matter all of the time...just keep your answers to the above 4 questions "yes", and you'll be fine!!!

I had a problem with the scale thing too....but I promised ()Tooter, and Winslow, that I wouldn't weigh myself every day. So, I'm only going to weigh myself every friday...my weekly anniversary of eating the right way!!!

STAY ON PLAN!!!!

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. L & C, I see you get a bit of reprieve this morning, enjoy the peace and quiet.

Tooter, I sure wish I had your energy. Your dinner sounded great, it's nice not to have to cook a big meal every day.

I'm on my way to the drug store to pick up some Kopectate for my 88 year old neighbor. I'm afraid he is having a case of nerves after f
