Lou, you think Cindy will take a stab at that comment about Adam???? She couldn't NOT do it!!!! Okay Cindy, come out and play.

You think that's it, Lou, why FIL's have slobbers that are uncontrollable? Never quite thought about it that way, I'm 50, you know, but maybe to a 73 year old, who knows????

Hey, my FIL is turning 80 this year. The last time I saw him (30 pounds ago), he said I looked hot, and he wouldn't mind seeing me running down the Strand in a bikini. Yeah, let's just take out Japan with the resulting tsunami. Hell, without underwire, I could destroy the entire Pacific Rim. I am a world power. Didn't know that, did you?

Becky - I would never even have thought to make a comment!

What's everyone up to, today??? Me - I am trying to get cleaning done today as my folks will be here next week for Easter and I don't have time during the week! Then Thursday will be a walk through and wipe up!

I also think DD17 and I are headed to the mall that's 25 miles from here that we go to - they are the mall with Abercrombie and Hollister. Not sure if I told you all, but she got picked to be a *Rep* for the photographer who is doing her senior pics! Every photographer does that here. She gets the inside shots of her senior pics done in a couple weeks, then they take multiple shots and incorporated them into a photo business card, which she then gives out to fellow juniors to drum up biz for the photographer. Of course, the more people we bring in, the more deals we get. It's quite an honor to be chosen as a rep! So that's why we need to get to to the mall and pick out some new tops......

We might be going to dinner with friends tonight too, but haven't heard back from my GF, so maybe not. Her Dad was due home from the hospital yesterday, so she may need to be with him.

Missing Jenn and Lise checking in more often! We miss you!

Rainy and damp here today; what about in your neck of the woods?

Off for a refill......

Good morning...

Not much going on here today....laundry and such....

Kate had a friend sleep over last night and she's still here....we are not sure when this will end...they get along so well...last night we each picked a movie and then they got to spend $5 total on junk at the dollar store...then we went to the mall for a bit...fun chick stuff...they went to sleep around 11 and were up before me...they woke me at 8:30 because they were hungry...*makes note to look up some microwave breakfast recipes to teach Kate for future use...

We need to pick up W's hearing aids...the volume on the TV is starting to really really get to me...other than that not much to do...taxes are done and submitted......

I'd love to be part of the different WW versions challenge....starting Monday I'm going back to the 2006 version of flex..I have all the material and I'll be at 26 pts /day with 35 WAP's...

OK...need to shuffle laundry around and get these girls to tidy up Kate's room...looks like a cyclone hit it...

Love to all
Lise

Hi everyone -

Just a short note here and then I will write tomorrow...

Lise - I have been following that plan now for a week and with good results. That was the plan I had my best success on - even a few years ago. Later on down the line I may switch to the exchange plan but I haven't been much for so long that this is working OK for me. Since I have been working for a few weeks (actually I am changing to a different job on Monday ), I went back to meetings last weekend. I like it and I need it.

Waving Hi to everyone - will update things tomorrow AM. Not any good news other than work.. but I need to start somewhere...

all...

Good morning everybody,
I just wanted to pop by and tell everyone how much I love this group! I really have a lot to do today and just want to laze around until time for the play, but duty calls.

Have a wonderful weekend!!

BTW, I'm down another .5 today!!! 138.5!!! I am having a hard time believing this myself. Woohoooo. I really don't want to get below 134 though. That was my original WW goal weight way back in 1972 when I was 22! And I'm sure not 22 anymore! By a long shot, lol.

Just popping in real quick this morning before I head off to the office. I was awoken by my neighbor this morning at 7:00 am (same one who came knocking on my door at 6:30 the other day ) and the cramps hit. So, I took a mega-pain killer and slept for another 3 hours. Puffy and looking pretty haggard looking, I feel great though and plan to get a lot accomplished today. Why, when TOM visits so infrequently, does it visit with such a vengence? It's not like it was MY choice to wait four months.

So, this weekend will be my last hurrah. In other words, I need to get all the tempting things out of my house before Monday. I'm not going to go overboard. I'm having a steak for dinner tonight and corn on the cob with a hamburger tomorrow. And maybe some popcorn tonight with our movie. To me, that's living it up.

Lean Cuisine was on sale yesterday - 5/$10. And I had a $1 off 4 coupon, which they double. I can't pass up a meal for less than 2 bucks. I'll have one today and one tomorrow and save the other two for when I'm back on regular flex.

Gotta get myself dressed and start work.....see you all later.

Lou

hello everyone.. and happy saturday.. looks like everyone is in a good mood today and doing very well.
been doing this and that all morning. DH had to go to work...
so well that left me free to work around the house a little. Feel bad for little bird Adam.
Gave two of my society finches a way to a guy DH works with.. and he breeds Goulidan (SP) finshes.. but they are horrible parents.. and won't sit on eggs... and Society finshes are the best parents.. and don't mind raising another finches eggs.. So in return he said he would give a pair of the babies..when he gets them hatched. So I could not turn that deal down.

I moved my cockatiels out on the patio a few weeks ago, and they are happy out there.. just need to cover them during the night, because it still gets mighty cold here.

I have done better eating this few last days.. except last night. Our friday night get-together was a disaster.. the person that was supposed to bring the main dish did not make it.. so all they had was from Sam's mixed Mex. appetizers.. sigh. So since I was starving.. sigh.. I ate some of that.. a whole plate full! argh. Oh well.. I guess I will pay for it today.. and be better prepared the next time.

waiving Hello to you all.. and checking out your personals.

You are right, you can't pass that good of deal. I love to take ready to heat meals like that when we hit the road.. and are at a dog show. Most motels have fridge and micro.. so it is a lot cheaper to bring out own. and it is saver and we stay on program.

Monika - the reason I love those frozen meals so much is that it's a great way for me to get my veggies in. They are very sparse with the veggies (and even sparser with the meat) but they usually have a ton of sauce in them - which would otherwise go to waste if I did not toss an extra 1-1/2 cup of frozen veggies in there. Usually beans or chopped broccoli. I figure I'm counting the points from that sauce anyway...I might as well get it all in my belly. Actually, the WW meals are better for that - they seem to have more sauce than the Lean Cuisine ones. But the Lean Cuisine ones taste SO much better.

Lou

PS. No I'm still not at the office - waiting for the employees to come and unlock it for me. But I am getting a ton of other work done, so it's not time wasted.
