Thanks, Kissa . . . can't wait till I am close to 155 . . .

The shakes are doing justice for me - I will start writing more about it in my journal.

I'm new here, but I thought I'd say hi since I'm going to try this plan, too. Actually, I've been on it for 7-10ish days (can't remember when I started). I'm way bigger than all of you, and I need to get into a routine for weighing myself so I can post about losses. But so far so good. It's perfect for people on the go who don't have much time to cook. I work 44 hours a week, go to school full time (starting tonight), am packing for a cross country move, and am trying to maintain a long-distance marriage (he got a job in Philadelphia, I need to finish this semester of school in San Francisco). I might not do the shakes on weekends, but 5 days a week, they're going to be my go-to meal. I'll probably have hard boiled or deviled eggs as snacks, since they're easy. But otherwise I'm a shake-girl for now. I'm hoping to shake this large booty off my body!

Tuki!!! Since you've started the plan, you're already on your way ... can't wait to read about your progress!!! Shake, shake, shake . . .

This morning, I reached my goal of 158 (before the end of August) - WOO HOO - I was 158.8 - just want to maintain that this week - but even if I go up a few ounces, I know for sure that I will come back down again - as long as I keep on track!

Didn't do the 158 dance yet, but I will . . .

Ended the month of August at 157.6 - although I was 156.6 on the 28th. Still doing a rollercoaster ride in the 157's - which in July 2009, I did the same for 10 days - up to 158's and back to 157's - in "Fluctuation City."

Today, I am 157.0 - hoping to be back to the 156's very soon! I will be eliminating steak out of my diet as it seemed to be the culprit for a couple of days - now amazingly enough, I can eat Steak-Umms with no digestive problem!

My weightloss goal for this month is to reach 153 by the end of September. out 156's, here I come . . . .

Hello!

Mind if I join in?

I decided over the weekend to do a shake/meal plan and here you all are! I am not doing the cans though. I'm doing protein powder.

Today was the first day, and so far, so good!

Jenn!!

Glad to have someone to join this thread! Here's wishing you all the best. I have lost 12-13 lbs. on the shake plan since I re-started in July. I was 169 lbs. and now down to 157. I was 156 a couple of days ago but fluctuations put me up a notch.

I hope to be 153 by the end of the month!

Can't wait to read your postings of progress.

Today, I am down to 154.6. Despite fluctuations, I have made it this far. Just had a huge salad for dinner - made of romaine lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, rotisserie chicken, an olive stuffed with garlic, olive oil, lemon juice and Mrs. Dash! I am so full!

Last week Wednesday, I reached the 153 mark! Back up due to TOM - 154.4 - but looking forward to seeing 153 before the end of this week - no later than next week though!

Feels great as I know the Atkins Advantage Shakes are a serious plan and backup when needed! Even my body fat percentage is down to 38% - 39% from 41%.

For the past couple of days, I have been down to 153's again. Hoping that I will stay within the range and reach 152's by the end of the week.

Attended a baby shower this weekend, and the eats were delicious. Of course, I planned to eat meat, salad and veggies. That's just what I had: fish, chicken, roast pork (didn't eat it all because it was "hot"), olive dip, green salad, cabbage and water. I took home a slice of the cake (it was gorgeous) and cut it up into bite size cubes (cake pop 'ems is what I call it) and froze them for future munchies. Still have to be careful of the "cubes" as moderation is always the key!

Today, I weighed in at 152.4 lbs.! Next month's goal is to reach 149. I have to say it was quite a struggle now that TOM showed up unexpectedly . . . I hope not to have that encounter again . . . the dr says I am menopausal . . . but as confused as I am about the terminology - I am not looking forward to seeing TOM anytime soon - I took a blood test last week . . . I was told I am not ovulating . . . so what's this all about?

Early in the month, the 157's was a bummer . . . it seemed like I could not get away from that one either.

Anyway, the weight from TOM was annoying - an easy 2 lbs. which slowed me down quite a bit along my weightloss journey.

I am still happy with 152 . . . hellloooowwww, 140's!

Hello all....I am going to give this a try starting Monday...after losing a great deal of weight eating under 5 carbs a day and low calorie, I seem to be at a stall...NOT what most call a stall, but what I call a stall and what I dont like..Last week it was confirmed by my gyno that I am going through menopause and my hormones are all out of whack and my thyroid ( have been on meds since i was 16) was off and we adjusted meds AGAIN....I am going to do 1 or 2 shakes a day and 1 meal to see how my body adjusts to this as well continue to exercise..I will post here daily and hope to get to know some of you...I am not sure exactly what shakes I will be doing as I am interested in the slim fast low carb ones and after talking to dely, am now interested in the atkins ones also....wishing everyone else success also....Stacy

Well, I am all prepared to start this tomorrow although I have broken my stall..I am down 5 pounds since Friday morning....I have not been hungry all weekend and since Friday have eaten zero carb everyday each day and only 1 meal ( no shakes even) and Sat morning was down 3 pounds and down 2 this morning...I am not sure what last week was stalling me....I went to Sams Friday night and got a case of the Atkins shakes and a case of the Low Carb Slim fast shakes...I will take them with me to work and if I am hungry will have one for lunch and then will have a zero carb piece of meat for dinner...I also am taking a new natural appetite suppressant/sugar craving preventative so I really think that is helping...Have also walked/ran 9 miles this weekend....I am all set to give this a go....Have a great week everyone

Hi guys.....Yesterday went well, but no change on the scales...:0(

My menu looked like this
B; none
L; vanilla atkins shake and I put a tablespoon of hwc and some sf vanilla syrup in it
D; 1 cup of ground beef

Before bed I felt hungry and had 9 pork rinds with 2 tablespoon ranch dressing....I also walked/ran 6 miles with my coach...I am wondering if the salt from the pork rinds or the extra 3 miles ( i usually just do 3), hindered seeing any loss on the scales..maybe muscle holding onto water....who knows, but today I am having a lc slim fast shake for lunch and will have the exact same dinner...will skip the pork rinds and will only be doing 3 miles tonight....hope everyone is having a great day
