Delynmonet - Your still at it and rolling baby. I'm also staying on track since my overeating on Thanksgiving. Thank goodness I didn't gain any weight behind that fiasco. I've been exercising regularly and it really does make a difference. Hang in there.

Del darlink........I didnt have a clue what I wanted to breakfast today , so I went to church without. I came home & still didnt have a clue but NOW I was hungry. ANYHOW...I had some Atkins SHake mix so I have one w/ a few strawberries & a cup of coffee.

My question to you is .......are u eatting snacks in between meals such as a hard boiled egg or something? Then you are eatting a real ( well LC meal) for dinner right? Think Im gonna join you on this for a week & see how it goes.

in advance.

PS -- was 167 yesterday but 166 today.........

Congrats about the 166!!! DonnaD40, actually, I don't snack, I drink a lot of water and/or decaf coffee during the day. Last week, I did have a snack of stuffed celery (cream cheese/anchovie mix); devilled eggs; cooked shrimp; smoked oyster platter, when I was home during the holiday.

By drinking the water (1 liter minimum a day), it fills the gap and I don't feel hungry. I've even given up my favorite diet Sunkist soda and replaced that with Seltzer and a twist of lime . . . . I was drinking too much of the diet Sunkist during the day and when I came home in the evening - and I was craving sweets because of the delicious taste. So, I guess that is helping as well.

Soon your siggy will read 160!! Can't wait!!

Hello Girls! H@ll yeah I think we can lose 5lbs by the end of December. Maybe 6lb. I honestly think exercising is a major factor. Well for me it has been. I've also found that food portion is playing a key roll too. I've trained myself to eat smaller portions at one sitting and its been real good. If I overeat for some reason now, I get sick. Wow!

Yes, we can lose at least 5 lbs this month . . . any loss at this point will do!!! That's really good that you mentioned exercising being a major factor. I hit the treadmill at least 3-5 days a week, religiously. It does help a lot. Diet and exercise, diet and exercise, diet and exercise . . . we can't stress it enough - it leads to a healthier lifestyle.

Have you been over to my Anybody Want to be a Treadmill Buddy thread? There you will meet and greet others who are avidly working out - from walking outside, the elliptical, roller skating, anything . . . . if you haven't, stop by and post your accomplishments . . . we'd love to see ya!!

Delynmonet - what does BTW stand for? I've seen it several times and I spent 10 mins one day trying to figure it out, and what I came up with was "between two women" is that right? Check this out - I'm suppose to be the smart one in the family, how scary is that. Enjoy your weekend precious!

:blush: I was missed! Thats so sweet. Im alive! I wasnt at the gym.
My husband is a contractor & my house never ever gets TLC because u dont get paid when you fix your own house.
ANYHOW-- the last customer is a very good one & pays very well! He had Thursaday & Friday off and decided to gut & remodel our bathroom instead of starting a new job on a thursday. Well , the bathroom is in the room next to this office , I couldnt get in here to play( plus , I didnt want to sit here on the computer for hours while him & his partner were working , they would think I goof off all day.) So.......thats where I was. Now I have to finish the spackling , sanding & painting today , tomorrow & tuesday , but I should be able to pop in & check in.( taking a quick break now).

I didnt do formal exercise but to keep myself busy & cleaned my basement like a loon , got ALL the disgusting laundry done , cleaned up constructions spooge 3 days in a row & hung my christmas decorations.

I lost a pound! I was 165 this morning.

I cant change the siggy , it jinxes me........LOL. I wont change it til I get below 165 & stay there.

Im trying a yogurt fast for atleast today. It has worked form me in the past. I ate real bad over the weekend & need to clean myself up. I am going to do yogurt for breakfast & lunch & porbably 2 snacks. Then a smallish dinner of meat & a salad.

If I can do it today , I will do it again tomorrow.
Well , off for now , I have 2 errands to do this morning , then come come & seal the grout & spackle some more ..........THEN.......do the mom stuff , like beds , laundry etc etc.

You gals have a wonderous monday.

Hey Donna - Good gracious woman, you do a lot of work - no wonder nobody can find you. I saw this episode on T.V. one time and it said - doing constant work around the house was one of the best exercises. Congratulations on your weightloss! Also thats a good idea - I think I'll change my ticker when I hit 140lb. Changing it before then my jink me. Hopefully, it will be before this month is over. I can only pray!

Hey Delynmonet - your melting! you'll be in your 140ties real soon. Now how cool is that.

I understand about changing the siggy - if it will jinx you - then, by all means, leave it just as it is!

I hope to be reaching 149 within the next few weeks. It's true that as you get closer to your goal, weight loss slows down weekly. I guess that is the protection mode that the body goes into. I don't mind, as long as the weight loss continues. I am beginning to fit into skirts that I couldn't manage to zip up in the back - wore one yesterday and Hubby loved it. I REFUSE to buy new outfits (unless its a smaller size) . . . that's a promise to myself - anyway, last year, I bought outfits that I am determined to stay into - not grow out of! Let's keep supporting each other BECAUSE WE ALL CAN DO THIS!!!

BTW, DonnaD40 - just wanted to say keep on doing what you are doing - it is working!! Go, girl!!!

Oh gosh , I couldn't do the yogurt fast. I had to eat real food. I will just continue on the Atkins foods & leave it at that. I guess Im am getting lots of exercise. So maybe this not losing weight is just muscle.
