anyone up for soup diet again
shocked girl @work lsot 50lbs by...
Fat burning soup diet

here is the recipe I use
Oriental diet soup
4 bullion cubes or 1 pkg onion soup mix
1 bunch celery diced
1 lg yellow onion chopped
3 bunches green onion
2 bell peppers diced
1 lb meat (of your choice)
1 box extra firm tofu (optional) diced
2 cans Rotel or 1 Rotel and 1 stewed tomatoes
1 bag frozen oriental veggies (any flavor)
1/2 head cabbage chopped
2 lbs baby carrots
cook meat add veggies fill pot with water and simmer 2-3 hrs
or fill crock pot and simmer on low all day..
to make a shrimp or seafood soup add meat after cooking soup just before serving..
I was short on money this week so instead of cabbage and oriental veggies I put one frozen 1 lb bag of califlower and 2 lb bag of brocalli in it soooo goooooooooddddddd!!!!

i really need to cook up a big batch or two of soups and go food shopping which would make this much easier.

1 LF can beef broth
1 pkg lipton chicken noodle soup mix
1 bunch celery

add heavy cream and water to fill pot
if using whole milk omit water
cook til thickened add #2 pkg mushrooms just before serving let mushrooms get warm.

Beef or chicken and rice
Not LC either but if you use brown rice its South Beach legal

5 bullion cubes
1 cup raw rice

ok this is totally something i am interested in ...but i have a question...should we watch our fats on it . or just eat totally regular LC ? I am a coffee junkie and i for sure don't wanna give up the cream.

It seems as if it would be just like eating regular LC to me. Maybe just less calories cause of the soup???????

The soup sounds good...I will have to give it a try. Why cook for 2-3 hours, don't they get mushy? All the veggies mentioned are usually cooked through in 30 mins. or less. Inquiring minds wanna know!

good question
I just fry the meat, onions together
then add the rest of the veggies, toamatos, bullion cubes fill pot with water
turn it on low and let it cook

fpr the crock pot
fry meat and onion in skillet
dump into crock pot
add frozen veggies next
put everything else in
fill pot with water
turn on low for overnight
