How is the CLA/GLA going?

Good morning everyone! I thought I was going to be one of the lucky ones and not have any of the bad side effects from the combo but I was wrong! Yesterday I woke up with 2 pimples and a headache that wouldn't go away all day Today I feel fine though. I think I can see a difference in my stomach area already, but according to the tape measure I haven't lost yet I've only lost about half a pound since Sunday. I just started on Sunday so I'm not expecting miracles yet.

I need to place an order at Netrition but I wonder if I order the borage oil now, even though it's out of stock, if they will send it when it's back in stock? Or do you think I should wait until it's back in stock. If I run out of my supps before then I could always just get them at wal mart again.

Trish- I heard that a mine was shut down in eastern ky b/c of safety reasons- no support for part of the roof or something like that... I know you're in ky, this wasn't near you by any chance I hope...

Christie- what kind of puppy is that in your avatar? I have a westie and she looked a lot like that when she was a baby. She even has that same collar (well, she's got about 30 *LOL*)

Caly- ummm girl you gotta be taking your measurements wrong b/c they sure don't seem like they match up with your pics!

Good morning everyone . Caly I think you are measuring in a different place for your hips than before...from your pics they surely havn't gone up any.... WTG on those losing inches!!!!!!!!!

1 more week till its pic time, this will be 3 months for some of us, can't wait to see the before/after ones and the new ones too!

Those side effects will go away, just give it a chance to get into your system.

I'm kinda dreading picture day.... I do every time, but I was happy last time, I could finally see a difference for myself.


We are going to Texas this weekend so don't send the possee out lookin fer me (Trish). Hubby bought a Suburban from Ebay and we are picking it up. I am kinda freaked out about that. It's a 97, fully loaded complete with towing package and some kind of huge front bumper, and it has 115,000 miles on it... it comes with a 30 day 3000 mile warranty and if we decide that we don't like it when we get there we don't have to buy it. I told hubby that before I sign a thing I am going to take it to the nearest Chevy dealer and have it checked out. They only want $6000 for it. Then he says (the male mind is amazing) "If we do get it and the motor blows up it's still worth the six grand"

Oh well, it's his money.

Man, I am only posting for overall input and not to knock anything that works for the many...but since I reduced my CLA and F-F-Borage gelcaps to one each a day my right side head pressure has subsided.
Was the 'pain' from weight lifting strain ? too few carbs and too much exercise?
don't know. but the pressure is gone.
I will go to 2 a day soon..after I have been lifting with no problems and know there are adequate carbs in daily meals.

Good luck with the suburban! Here in Texas everyone has those big bumpers. We moved here a year ago and everyone's got Suburbans, Excursions, or huge trucks with those bumper things. Now my BF has to get one They do make trucks look good though. Have a safe trip!

I personally have not gotten pimples. But from what everyone else has said, they don't last long.
Tell them they were not invited and to go away!!

Girl, don't make yourself crazy with that scale. I noticed that you are weighing everyday. As you know the combo most likely will cause a stall. Plus we are girls and the water weight is not an option with us. Make sure you are measuring also. I have been on the combo since Nov have only lost 7.3lbs - but have lost 21.5 inches over all. So don't be discouraged, ok !
As many of us have said, " we could careless about the weight as long as the inches keep coming off".
I'll be looking forward to your posts of inches lost - and it will be soon, you'll see.
