Thanks for getting back to us. But I liked the old taste. Well, I guess I have to get used to this one. But then again who cares as long as it keep giving me the results that I love, I don't care what it taste like at this point.

I love them! I have about every DaVinci flavor and will be trying them all!

Edited to ask - does anyone know what flavors to put together to get orange creamsicle and pina colada? Thanks!
Hi Val,

I am a (Ex) Pastry Chef and have made these before in different places that I have worked - they are wonderful.
For myself, I make that same type of Frosting as well. Or I'll just make it and use it as (LC) Mousse. You can also use the different Flavors of Sugar Free pudding and also add the Davinci's syrup to add flavors of the frostings. (something to think about and have fun being creative)

You can combine the flavors: Orange & Vanilla = Creamsicle, Coconut & Almond = Pina Colada, Chocolate & Hazelnut or White Chocolate & Almond are soooo good also.

Best of Luck and have fun,

Gina

Combat damage from multiple sclerosis. The abundant supply of essential fatty acids in borage oil may be valuable in minimizing the inflammation associated with this progressive nerve disorder. The fatty acids may also contribute to healthy nerve development when taken over time. It is important to begin taking borage oil as soon as possible after diagnosis.

I found a site that had some CLA questions y'all may be interested in seeing........

Is CLA Safe to Take With My Thyroid Medications?

There's no evidence that CLA, a food supplement, interacts with thyroid medications, or poses any special dangers to thyroid patients. But you should always discuss any supplements you intend to take with your own physician or practitioner before starting.

Is CLA Only for People with Thyroid Problems?

Absolutely not. The studies have shown that it's effective in general for reducing/converting fat. You don't have to have a thyroid problem -- you just have to be overweight -- to benefit from CLA.

How Much Should I Take?

The study found that 3.4 grams of CLA was needed in order to get the benefits. That's 3,400 mg. Since the various formulas contain a percentage of other oils as ingredients, it's wise to probably calculate how much each pill is delivering to make sure you're getting the full 3.4 grams a day. For example, if your capsule contains 75% CLA, and it's 1000 mg, then you're getting 750 mg of CLA, and would need 5 per day to get to the 3.4 grams level.

How Should I Take It?

The various recommendations differ here. Some recommendations suggest to take it before eating. Others suggest to take it with meals. Take it preferably with lowfat or nonfat milk for maximum protein absorption. Personally, I'm taking it right before I eat with some 2% milk.

Does CLA Have Any Side Effects?

Some people report feeling slightly green or nauseous after taking their CLA, or isolated cases of gastrointestinal upset or loose stools. These side effects typically are reduced when the product is taken with protein (i.e.,with milk), and usually decrease after about 2 weeks taking the supplement.

Are You Taking CLA, and If So, Is It Working For You?

I periodically take the CLA. Usually, in the first three weeks, my abdominal fat "pooch" shrinks. Other "fattier" areas (such as cheeks, upper arms, rear end) seemed to be slowly reducing as well. I also notice that my appetite is somewhat reduced. I had two or three days my first week when I felt a bit green after taking my CLA, but I began to take it with a bit of milk, which eliminated that problem. Other than that, I had no other gastrointestinal problems with it.

I'm guessing that it means she doesn't take it every day but when she does go through a cycle of taking it, she reaps those benefits. And she must maintain her inches lost between cycles or else she would keep taking it every single day (like us )...don't you think?

Hello all, Have been faithfully taking my cla/gla combo for almost a month now (stared 12/22). No change in tummy!!!

I am still going to continue - I said I would give it 90 days. However, as expected (this can stall you, right?) - the scale has not moved. Still 129ish in the am and 132ish at nite. I think my meat/cheese portions are now too big b/c I have lost about 26lbs, so that may be my problem as well. Probably more so.

Had my annual checkup 12/23. Dr. said my weight itself is not bad at 130, however I am still in a high risk group for being over weight b/c my hip to waist ratio is all out of whac. My measurements are still 36" chest, 37" tum (all areas) 36" hips, and 21" thigh.

I was really hoping this would work. I know a month into it is not long, but I am losing hope that it will work for me. Maybe the "when you least expect it" rule will come into play for me and I will wake up one day with a "Caly-Like" difference. Man, wow is all I can stay btw. last month and this month's pics of her!

Anyway, 2-mar-0 I am starting a 3 day H20 fast to maybe jump start things again. Then, I am going to M/E only until I start to fix my hip/waist ratio.

I am not going to lie, I do want to look good in a swimsuit this summer, however this hip/waist ratio thing really has me spooked. I do not want to continue walking around as a heart attack waiting to happen!

Thanks for listening! I am so proud of all of you, you all look great! I can see such a difference in everyone's pics! I am enjoying success w/ the combo vacariously thru all of you!
