Wow, I have been busy!!!!
Hi Bob, nice to see you here. You're from my home state. I miss it!!!! I had a mirror incident last night too.... I went to a party and in the bathroom they had full length, wall to wall mirrors... well, I happened to glance up after I got my undies pulled up and got a view of my behind. I SWEAR I thought it was someone else!!!! When I realized it was me I had to check me out, I couldn't believe it. Sandy, I miss you posting here!!!! Those inches not dropping is nothing to worry about.... that's why I have my tight jeans Journal.... it really helps when I can't measure any loss. Carla, Try it... all of us are individuals, different things work for each of us. Let us know how it goes. Chevy, HEY girl!!!! Trisha, have a blast during your time off!!!! I'll try to get back later... I have a MILLION and one things to do.

WOOHOO !! 3000 posts !!!!
Sandy, Merry Christmas to you also. LOL Carla, We may not like those before pics, but they sure show the difference when we update them . About the food stuff, you just have to experiment and see how you do with it. I feel now is a good time since we have several months before summer and if it backfires, ya still have time to go back to what you know what works. Merry Christmas to you too ![]() Chev, Glad to see your hangin in there. I'm really excited to see your next update pics. Merry Christmas !!! Michelle, you crack me up. I thought you were going to tell us you broke a mirror . Glad you were just admiring your butt and not adding 7 years bad luck Merry Christmas !!!Alismom, I just got a hi/low light and a trim like I always get. I got a drastic haircut this time last year (a bad one ) and scared to try something new again just yet. Merry Christmas !!!!

Just got back from the grocery. That was torture! Otherwise everything else is done. We are staying close to home and taking it easy. DH is feeling amazingly good considering he just had the first chemotherapy. But not knowing if/when he might suddenly get nausea we are just laying low. DS will be home tomorrow so we'll celebrate then.

Abby, My aunt was the same was after Chemo, she felt very good and not sick. Hope your dh stays that way. Still in my
'sElyse, that strange hanging lower tummy thing that defy's measurement....I have seen it called a belly apron You have time to reach goal, just hang in there !!!Michelle, Glad you finally got everything all wrapped up. I was bad today also, we ate a Rueben from Arbys. I'm gonna be real bad tomorrow when mom cooks those home made rolled out noodles !!!!!! I figure I may as well get this holiday eating out of my system now cuz next week its back to plan. No more holidays to tempt me lol. As to where your going to put all the stuff...I used to have my kids pick out stuff they dont play with anymore and donate it to the mission store for kids who didnt get anything. They felt good doing it. I got some cla/gla ordered for my daughter Treva in Florida. She said she didnt know if it was her being sick or that combo but just the couple days she took it while she was here, she lost a couple pounds and some of her after baby belly. I did get her before pics and measurements before she left so she will have something to compare them to. I also got her a Balance ball shes been wanting and a "Balance Ball for Dummies" DVD LOL I love those books and tapes. Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas !!!!!!!! Hope you get everything you want and then some. I got the camera I wanted Yayyyyy!!!! ![]() Last edited by kycowgirl : 12-24-2005 at 08:16 PM. |

I am so glad to hear all of you confess the indiscretions of the past few days! Yesterday I was awful: B: Sonic for xl chilli chees tots L: Deluxe Turtle Brownie D: Waffle House that of course included the waffle and hash browns.
I feel pretty miserable today from it! Today we are cooking a big breakfast as our main holiday meal so I'm in good shape. That's a great way to start getting back on track! Merry Christmas to all ![]() |

Merry Christmas everyone! You're not alone. I ate a few pieces of chocolate, caramel dipped apples. OMG they were to die for. I'm going to try not to go hog wild today. I am making a lot of things that I can have. I'm gonna pop some Phase 2's before company comes. Tomorrow is another day. I'm thinking of trying a ff for a few days if I can do it. I hope you all have a wonderful day today.
My kids are totally on overdrive. LOL |

Abby, Alismom, dont stress over it. The holidays are a very difficult time to try to stay on plan. Looks like we are all going to have a fresh start together after this is all over, then we will all kick butt !!!
![]() Michelle, Yeehawwww !!! I am so happy for you. I was reallyyyyyyyyy hoping he would get it for you. If I had his e-mail I would have sent him a letter and begged him to get it for you lol. I know you feel really good right now. I think he is really proud of the progress you have made so far and he bought that to show you even if he doesnt say it. Give him a big hug for me for getting that for you![]() We are going to my moms in Ohio today. I am taking my combo before we go and taking Phase 2 with me. I'm gonna try not to cheat too bad, no use hiding it, I will cheat, but I cant resist those noodles. I have managed to hold my weight at 178 so far, but after this holiday is over, I am going to do my best to get that scale moving down again. ![]() ![]() Merry Merry Christmas to every one of our family here. I hope "santa" was good to you all !!! Luv you all ![]() ![]() |

Michelle!! I'm so happy you got your elliptical. I guess those "subtle" hints you dropped like "BUY ME AN ELLIPTICAL, BUY ME AN ELLIPTICAL, I WANT AN ELLIPTICAL" worked! LOL.
I am going to try not to go overboard with anything today. There is really nothing much tempting me. May have a taste here and there of a few things...and one of my slow cooked potatoes. I'm looking so forward to my prime rib! ![]() |

Merry Christmas to all!!!
Michelle - that is a wonderful gift, I know you weren't expecting anything so that was truly a surprise. I too have falled off plan..but tomorrow will get back on. That is the key..to get back on plan again and that sounds like what we all are going to do. My sister is having gastric bypass this coming thursday....I am scared for her but it is something she really wants. Abby glad to hear things are going good with your hubby with the chemo. When my husband had chemo it was for 7 days continuace IV and it wasn't too bad until the end of the seven days. My dad's chemo was mon-fri for many weeks can't remember now..but he felt good. Just a little more tired than normal. I will keep you and your dh in my prayers that he continues to feel good. better go...gonna pull the kids on the sled with the 4-wheeler. |

Merry Christmas! We've had a great day. Cooked a big breakfast of eggs 2/sausage and bacon. DH had a couple of biscuits. Opened presents. DH gave me a wonderful pair of jammies that turned out to be TOO BIG! They were probably just right when he went Christmas shopping but I'm happy to do a return of these. I think this is the first time in my life I've been able to return because the clothes were too big!!!
DH is getting some rest. He's feeling a little tired but still feeling pretty good. So far no nausea. His treatment is once every two weeks. He'll go at least 3 months and then re-evaluate with possibility of an additional 3 months. We're just thankful there's a good prognois. That's the best gift.

Abby, I am happy that he isn't having any serious side effects. A friend of ours was very sick after chemo. I will keep you in my prayers.
Carla - I will also keep your sis in my prayers, I really hope everything turns out good with her. That's scarey!!! LOL Alismom - I think I dropped those not-so-subtile hints about 3 times per day!!! It was funny, I knew that he gave my friend the money to get clothes for me, so when he brought out the bags I acted surprised and said "This is the first present I've had from you" and jumped up and gave him hugs and kisses. Then everyone finished opening everything and he said "Oh, wait.... boys I need your help getting something from your closet"... I thought he was getting the Tupperware containers I got for their new toys to go in... they come back dragging this huge box (some assembly required - yeah, right!) I was jumping up and down and screaming.. "Oh my God!!!! You got it!!!!!!" then I jumped up and hugged him (read: squeezed him to death)!!! He said that he wished he could have gotten a pic of my face. |

Hope everyone enjoyed. Michelle, the elliptical really does "kick butt" doesn't it? OMG the first time I could barely get through 15 mins (don't forget, I hadn't even worked out at all for weeks!). Now I'm doing 25 min and am exhausted. My legs are killing me, especially in the calves.
Abby, glad dh is feeling good. Prayers for his continued successes! Well I was not bad at all the whole meal -- ate just my meat and 1/2 potato...but then dessert came and I ate a piece of apple pie with vanilla ice cream (almost the whole piece!) and a few little "mini" cheesecakes (each one is about the size of a half dollar). I have a hangover today, literally I feel like #$$% and look like I'm a bloated whale. Need to get on the elliptical! |
