Hi all!
Thought I'd be proactive and start us off on a new thread for October...
Aagh! Cannot believe this year is three quarters over!
How's the UK weather? I keep reading that you all are having an Indian Summer!
Here the usual, 25 degrees and sunny! I am glad August is over, it was really too hot over here.

My menu for today:

B: omelette florentine
L: leftover chicken drumsticks (2) with just a touch of salad
D: dunno, going out, probably steak tartare!

mimosa good to see u and sorry to hear about the job and the weight gain but now u have confessed all u can start getting lighter in more ways than one cos we will nag u if u dont lol, hows the love life btw?

have 5 weeks to my holiday and i cannot wait!!!

Sounds great Shy!
I haven't had a big holiday this year due to not knowing what the future may bring job-wise, so I enjoyed Barcelona and the summer here, it was really nice actually!

Yes shy, I do live a crazy life don't I? Devon and London are both full time homes though, neither is a 'holiday' for me.

Got to do a great Body Step class today. Not at my usual gym but at the local Leisure Centre. £4.70 but hey who cares? It was simply lovely. Simple moves with varying intensity and I got my heart rate right up there. Felt really good afterwards.

I love Barcelona Mimosa, one of my all time favourite places.

Food was going good - until we came to the Hotel for the Oktoberfest - oh well - tomorrow is a new day!!

I had a swim today - it was lovely - must do it more often in this perfect climate (okay - so occasionally a bit humid - but what the H!)

I will not be able to find a job here, so unfortunately I will be leaving before the end of the year... Not sure exactly when, that depends on when I can start a new job!

oh - pity Mimosa!!

Shy - 19th Wedding Anniversary on the 29th and DH's Birthday yesterday - so a bit of a celebration. Back on track now!!

I have just seen some of my mother's phots - and if that's what being 10.1 is all about - then please give me some of it!!!

Just met our lovely new neighbours - a Dutch couple (with 2 kids) who are out here for 1 year. They're going to be fun!

It takes us just under 3 hours door to door London to Devon, if we don't stop. We always have 2 cats with us remember!

Lovely photos! Beautiful. Isn't autumn great? Well, except for that gale force wind blasting outside right now! I have to go out, oh no! I need some lead weights for my pockets or I'll be blown away.

Once I get back in I'll snuggle in and batten down the hatches all weekend.

ailuros those photos are stunning!!! u should be a professional photographer (assuming u arent already)

junk same here its blowing a gale and supposed to get worse later with gusts up to 30mph plus eeek

Had a great day yesterday and today we went to a local cinema where they were showing the National Theatre's production of All's Well That Ends Well, brill.

Turned up to teach someone at 8.00am this morning - no student!!!! GROWL!!!

I'm enjoying cooking at the moment - much to my DH's surprise - not sure about pleasure, because now he has to eat what I want or choose to cook!!!
