Las Vegas
I am 95% sure I will be relocating to Las Vegas, because DH received a job offer there. I am hoping someone could provide advice and recommendations on good restaurants for LCers that are not chains. Also a good grocery store, I was not thrilled with the produce I saw at grocery store I visited in Summerlin.
I know LV is in a desert, but I am hoping for better produce than I saw. I am glad they have a Whole Foods, but was hoping for some alternatives for "everyday" food shopping. TIA-this move is quite a surprise and it will be a huge adjustment. I am quite nervous but also excited, so I appreciate ANY tips or recommendations you have about where to live in LV, where to shop, and just how to live like a local.

Las Vegas has so many awesome restaurants.
You probably won't want to hang out at all the tourist haunts but Binyons steak house down at the old Fremont Street area is amazing. Best steak I ever had and what a view! Also at the Rio there is the restaurant under the Voodoo lounge.. They have a menage a trois which is steak lobster and crawfish I believe. ![]() Have fun. It's an amazing town. ![]() |
