Here is the thread. OK, we think the Brazilian restaurant will be great cause we can all stay on plan, it is all you can eat meat, and it has a fun ambiance. How about August 21 st 22nd or 23rd? Are there any nights that do not work for someone?

No i'm off mondays and tuesdays. I work downtown in the airline industry, it's mostly just managing engineers and making sure things are fixed on schedule, it's nothing exciting

On a more banal note, the Winners in Place Montreal Trust has a slew of SF coffee syrups, including flavours like French Vanilla, White Chocolate, English Toffee, Amaretto, Chocolate Raspberry and Tiramisu! $6.99 a bottle, and no shipping/handling (duh!) I bought the Tiramisu and it was dee-lish in a smoothie!

Good question - there were a few brands, IIRC. One was Artisan. That's the one I bought. They all have the Splenda logo on them.

BTW, I did not get sports sandals, which was my main reason for going to Winners. So I guess I'll be barefoot, sipping a sugar-free smoothie. There are worse fates, ya know!

Hi everyone! Another montrealer here.

I will go to this dinner any day after 21 August is perfect. I will be back from vacation then.

What is SF? Sorry I am 100% new to the low carb word. I go almost everyday to Winners to check out the decoration stuff but haven't noticed this food.

Smoothies a la Me:

1 c. cold coffee or water with 1 Crystal Light singles package
1 scoop protein powder
10 small ice cubes (I have a small ice cube tray that came with my small fridge!)
If using coffee, then I add 1/2 T. cocoa powder and about 1 T sugar-free (SF) flavoured syrup. Blend until you don't hear any ice chunks whizzing around. Enjoy!
