[quote=Alcmene;10616027]Well you can just scramble and make cinnamon eggs.

I have cinammon eggs all the time. Nice with a dash of vanilla extract, splenda, cream cheese and butter. My little girl loves them too although I reckon she'd like the waffles even more...

Oh Emslight that sounds absolutely fantastic especially to one who can't get bacon easily.

I have had a lovely time reading all your posts girls. Everyone has so many good ideas. Oh BTW, I have ordered (through a friend in the UK) electric Mossie repellers. They are solar powered and clip onto things. SO I have ordered 2, one for my handbag, one for the patio table and one for the bedroom window. I hope they work. Here's a link Sonic Mosquito Repellent - Buy cheaper online with BA High Life Shop

Anyway I haven't been entirely good, but I am losing weight again, think it is mainly because the heat and some pills I am taking seem to be supressing my appetite.

We have quite a few English broadcasts here Mint but one I think you have is BBC Prime. Not joking peeps, -of a weekend they will play (say) Vicar of Dibley back to back for over 12 hours with just two episodes of something else in the middle somewhere to break it up. I think last weekend it was Only Fools and Horses. I enjoy the movie channels and looking at the subtitles does sometimes teach us a word.

Bibby, do you get a lot of mosquitoes in your handbag then?

I had the French toast this morning. One Minute Muffin plain, made in a small oblong tupperwear box, split into two slices. (Made last night and allowed to cool.) This morning, dipped each slice into a beaten egg. One egg was enough for both sides of the two slices. Fried in lard. I put fried bacon and slice of chedder cheese between the slices once cooked. Yeah... that was pretty tasty. And by "pretty tasty" I mean "fantastic!"

Hi All

Just a quick note to say - have finished Day 2!!!!

I know that doesn't sound like a lot to be impressed with - but I have been having real difficulty knuckling down to Atkins.

Found some great relatively lc soya milk - 0.6 grams per 100grams - and I like it in my tea. Today I have bought an even lower brand 0.1 grams per 100 grams - will see what that tastes like soon.

Hope all are doing well - courage Mum!!!!!

Bibby - I hate mosquitos and they love me - let me know how your things work! Please!!!

Take care

I wont be getting them till my friend brings them over in late September. Meanwhile I have suggested she tests one in the UK. Where she lives the mozzies are far worse than here, so it'll be a good test (providing the solar panel gets enough sun during the day, LOL).

I will report back as soon as I hear from her.

Probably not enough time - did see something called Mozzie Off - from Scotland - a natural anti-mozzie skin spray.

Just been to the local village festival - for want of a better word - had a nice time - drank too much (what a shock!) but ate on program.

Night night

Ah the bittersweetness of weight loss. I finally had to bite the bullet and decide my favourite purple trousers have to go to the Oxfam shop now. It doesn't matter how much I like them, if breathing in too far would make them fall down, then they gotta go!

So... shopping trip?

So sad when that happens - and yet - what a joy!!!

On Day 5 - very happy with myself - it hasn't been too terrible - nor have I been overly strict - but imagine around the 20gram mark most days!!!

Hope you're okay Bibby - not to near the blasts?

Okay - off to Ikea - need to buy bed linen for old folks imminent arrival (ie Kissa) - as container stuck on the high seas for at least another 10 days!!! Gotta love it!

Take care all

I've had that feeling, too - when I can't wear things I really liked. But I wasn't upset enough to want the weight back .

Hot but lovely. Went on 12 mile cycle ride yesterday but still feel fat this morning. Tummy sitting on top of jeans is not a good look.

Poor Vicky, sorry you have to buy for us. We want to do a lot of nothing while we are there, and try to stay cool!

Gym class cancelled this morning, humph.

You and me both. We know how to do it, so what are we up to?

Why did I eat clean all day yesterday then when a cheese board came out eat not 1 but 5 Bath Olivers with the cheese? Madness.

Going to get another chicken breast now. I am craving food like mad, just got to make sure it is induction friendly.

Hi...sorry I have been quite. I had a really rough week last week. I felt sorry for myself which is something I normally don't allow myself to do. But this week has been better and this past weekend was awesome. My Goat Farmer was down to see me. So.....that was a really pick me up.

I just wanted to pop in and say hello.

Hi Cosmic, sorry you have been down, it must be in the air, as you can see shy and I have been getting grumpy too.

Shy, I go away a week today and I really want to stay on the wagon. Mint is being good so I know she and I will do well on Cyprus.

Let's try really hard!
