So, thinking of starting Atkins tomorrow - will really miss my tea!!!!!! But I just like too much milk in it. Any other suggestions? Maybe the Soya Milk here is low carb?
Will let you all know how I do! |

Me too Vicky. I have a spare tyre.
I have just eaten a full Devon clotted cream tea and I fear it proves that I am not succeeding with my IE and Paul Mckenna. Darn it! Look at the Induction Food Porn site. It is inspiring. Last edited by Kissa : 07-13-2008 at 10:49 AM. |

Looks like induction is here for a number of us!
I started the day with a bit of saucisson, left over from last night ,then 4 slices of cheddar sprinkled with fresh green chillies. Pop it in the Microwave for a few minutes, pour off the melted fat and eat without burning mouth! Forgot to weigh in this morning before eating. Think I will do it now anyway, it will make my losses look better and boost my morale! lol |

Vicky I bumped the thread for you!
I don't usually do induction any more either Ailuros, as I claim to be a maintainer. But after 2 months of IE with so much carb creep I think I need to go clean for a week at least. I probably live at about 50/70 carbs when things are on an even keel. |

I found when I was at 20-30g carb that I felt as if my heart was racing all the time (even though it wasn't really), my muscles would run out of steam half way up the stairs, and I just felt jittery. I did find some things better, and I lost weight, but even after months the shaky, weak feeling didn't go away, so now I keep the carbs up just a bit higher even when I need to lose weight. It's annoying, because I know the fat would go faster with lower carbs, but it's obvious my body doesn't like it

Hi everyone!
Hope the weekend was good! I spent the whole weekend racing around between family and friends, both mine and BF's... It was hectic, and slightly unnerving, but I think we passed our coupledom with flying colours, LOL! Back in sunny Spain, it was rainy and fairly cold in Holland... I am still not smoking, but I feel like a fat pig. Drinking is still too much, and have decided to not drink for a week or two. Am exercising like crazy, and hopefully I'll see some results soon, it's driving me insane! |

I'm in for it - I think!
I have found a few gyms that run Les Mills Body Pump, Body Jam classes etc - need to investiage the cost a bit further - as need to ensure that I can afford to do it - still not 100% sure what our earnings are going to be. Will hit the butcher's tomorrow!! |

You need to post that induction thread...
Why is it when I am in the yard in the evening I get bug bit but not in the morning? |

INDUCTION FOOD PORN!!!
I have temporarily fallen off rails. Had a 'Do' on Saturday night for 26 friends, made far too much food and we're still eating it. Most of it gone now. BUT there was a lot of bread and Dave had made a real bread pud, so I am in it deep!! But never fear. I will soon be back on track because the downside to eating naughties is the yeukky feeling in my stomach. I can live without that ta. Last edited by Bibby : 07-15-2008 at 11:22 PM. |

Hi Neighbour - yep 'do's can be dangerous - at least you are losing!!!
Have boiled up some eggs for breakfast - I can do this! Spent nearly 2 hours trawling the recipe rooms - particularly am going to need to make my own mayonnaise - as it has a lot of sugar in it here. Cosmic - join the club - just think it's that time of day that all the little beasties come out!!! So, anyone else on the 4 week challenge? Or just me and Cosmic. I have no scales yet - so I'm going to have to give myself another goal. Mine is - a dress. I bought myself a lovely dress in Dubai on the way over here - would like to wear it for my 40th (aagh) (sorry Mum - but you're never quiet about your age so I can't make you look old with that date) - that's only 3 weeks today - but it would be lovely to fit into by then or at the end of 4 weeks at the latest!!! It's about 1 inch off on the underarm zip - I can do this!!! Should we have a challenge thread here as well? Or should we just bore other people with what we're up to?

Different airlines fly to and from different airports, so it will depend where you want to go to. Sometimes there's a change at Frankfurt or Paris, so you have to weigh up how much you want a direct flight against the cost. When we went to Chicago, BMI flying from Manchester was the cheapest direct flight. If you use one of the on-line flight booking sites, like travelocity, it'll give you a list of options.
