Atlanta area LCF's

Okay, I'm sure most of you know about this, but for those of you in the Atlanta area that haven't been yet, definitely check out the Dekalb Farmer's Market for your shopping. I went today to check the prices on a few basics, and I'm hooked! Apples at about half the price of the grocery store, bulk organic coconut oil at a very reasonable price ($6 per quart). Bulk fresh herbs for cheap. Organic fruits for the same price as regular fruits at the grocery store. Coffee was cheaper per pound than Trader Joe's (my next favorite). It was Sunday, so I didn't have a chance to really browse, but I'm looking forward to coming back each week.

Anyone else in the Atlanta area want to share their finds?

I've always loved that market, but it is a bit far for me now.

How's the coconut oil? Is it a really good coconutty product? I love the 'real smell' ones.

Oh yes, very coconutty. It smells positively luscious!

I am between Atlanta and Macon, probably closer to Macon, and I am thinking about going to the Farmers Market in Forest Park off I75....I have no idea how to even begin to go through all the stuff.

I am trying to do whole foods with a lot of protein.

they are a handful, but so much fun. They are getting to a very interesting age...one minute they drive you nuts, the next you cant stop laughing with them.

what part of the ATL is everybody?
