It's been a lovely day here. I went out for a walk this afternoon. Wore a sun hat because it was a bit fierce. Tomorrow we are off early for me to have this test in Izmir. There's an IKEA there and some other big shops like Tesco's. SO we may be back with swag, LOL!

I love June, it is my anniversary on the 4th (27 this year, + 9 years waiting!), then I have my birthday on the 23rd. Thank God it isn't a big one, last year nearly killed me giving so many parties.

That reminds me I weighed half a stone less this time last year, oops.

The check out boy in Tesco's didn't believe my age yesterday though.

Hi all!
Well, I'm hoping June will bring some good weather to me here in Spain... Can't believe I've had the whole month of May more or less grey and wet.... Yuk! I am so ready for some sunshine!

Things are well apart of course for the weather situation, LOL!
I am still waiting (3 weeks now) for my washing machine to be repaired... How long does it take???? GRRRRRR this is the only thing I really dislike about living here, everything seems to take about 5 times as long as in the UK or the rest of northern europe...
Mañana, mañana! Oh, well it does have a little charm too, as long as it doesn't involve washing machine repairs, LOL!

My menu today:
B: coffee
L: salad with a little tuna and a HB egg and a grilled chicken breast after
D: dunno, going out like most evenings, so my food depends on what's on the menu!

Helloooooo . . . only me!! I can’t believe that I last posted back at the end of January? Time has flown by so quickly.

I’ve had two 40th /s and a 21st birthday, my son doing his exams and enrolling at college and work/studying has been just manic.

I’m back as of today as I took my gym membership off hold at the weekend, I went on Friday and Sunday morning for the first time in months . . . now that work is slowing down a tad I can get back to a ‘normal’ life!!

Hi, all! June already, can't believe it.

I haven't been on here much the last week or so, trying to finish up a writing project. But that's all done now, and I don't have quite as much on my plate just now, so should be around a bit more. Just marking my spot. Welcome back Lou!

Summer is here too. It is very hot and muggy. Up in the 80's already. But then again it starts getting warm here in April and will stay that way til October. Just hoping the muggyness would wait til mid June.

First day of Induction today....Scrambled eggs so far.

I got my exam results. I got a 530 and I need 620 So I am taking it again in 14 days. Keep me in your thoughts. I need this so I can get my license and a good paying job.

Otherwise things are good. I had a bit of an Allergy attack Saturday. My right eye is very sore an blood shot. But I am feeling ok.

The concert on Friday was great. I had such a good time and it better than I thought it would be.

Mimosa, sorry you have had such a grey May but I hope it has helped your terrible water shortages.

Maryam your daughter is so beautiful, takes after her Mum I can see. Where in the States will she be, does her Dad live near any of your family? It will be exciting for her and very good experience though I know you will miss each other dreadfully.

I know all about missing daughters and no, Mint has not moved yet. They leave Brisbane on 10th and arrive in Cyprus on 16th I think. They will be in Dubai staying with friends for 5 nights, I am sure they will wave to you in Abu Dhabi.

It's always been a known but hidden thing but this year was soooo blatant even Terry said so . . . I'm losing my faith or my marbles as I used to love the guessing games as to who was going to vote for who . . . this year every one came out of the closet!! Perhaps it's time to grow up???? Nah!! maybe next year . . .
