Shy: How was your holiday? Are you all recharged and everything?

Here, not much time to post, got tons of work today, so I'm going to get my head down and get on with things!

oooh a meet up in turkey sounds nice, when it cools down that is, decided i dont do over 30's lol.. failing that london or its environs is good for me, we did have one planned before but it all fell apart for various reasons we shall have to dig out our diaries and set a date for whoever can come

LOL! I usually feel the same after a nice holiday, LOL!
Things with BF are better every day, can't believe it myself, but I think he is my 'one'...

And the reason I have stopped going on about it too much is that I am starting to bore even myself with stories about the wonderfulness of the relationship and my BF himself...

Glad you had a good time Lou, I am back down in Devon and it is a glorious evening but I think it is going to rain for the rest of the time we are here. Back to London on Monday.

Stopped at a friends for lunch and she said I was looking slim, always nice to hear.

I am sorry but I am trying hard not to laugh about the feet off Canada, I know I shouldn't. I am horrid.

The funeral was a great success ad SIL did very well. It was a real celebration of her life, which is just as it should be.

Shy there is this weird news story about feet being washed ashore in Vancouver, 5 in the past year, all from different bodies. I know it isn't funny really, but I had to fess up!

Turns out one was a set up, it had an animals foot in it!!

I have had a such a lazy day today I am ashamed of myself. I meant to sort out the shoe situation in this house which is out of control, old walking boots and sandals and totally dated stuff.

It has been cold and dark so we lit the fire and I have watched TV!

Out to lunch tomorrow with FIL up on the edge of the moor. Hope the weather improves a bit

Sorry to say it's supposed to be very bad tomorrow. 65mph gusts, storms right across the country. First day of summer today? My arse! Batten down the hatches and stay somewhere cosy.

yaaay junk thats brilliant news... about the weight i mean not the weather!!

at the moment its sunny with some cloud here but very windy

did anyone see that program i think its called supersizers its a series where they are eating as our ancestors ate.... last night was edwardian, apparently over the week they ate 40,000 cals each and both lost over 6lbs .. lol sort of debunks the u have to eat low calorie doesnt it

I saw the Victorian one of that. They probably lost weight on that one because they could barely stomach most of the food, it was so yuck. Mmm... calf's head.

Even with Sophie Grigson cooking, that would give you pause.

The terrible weather has failed to materialise here. It's a bit breezy with some cloud. But otherwise, the sun is out and the birds are tweeting.

Yes, we have had the most glorious sunny day here, so lucky me!

Yes I did see supersize Elizabethan, and yes it was amazing weight loss, mostly protein and fat but sugar too strangely!

oh yes i saw the one with sophie grigson, she used to be such a skinny little thing i barely recognised her

i am guessing they didnt eat that much sugary things cos of the expense of it and also the preceeding course were so huge!!!

nice and bright here today am off to my health club laater and hopefully sit on the outside deck there for a bit.

am sat hhere with the sound of VERY loud roadworks uggh not used to so much noise in the morning

Well folks, I just got back from a crazy weekend in Manchester! I am soooo tired, need my bed! Bon Jovi were absolutely EPIC. I was planning on coming back last night but you know, one party led to another!

Now am looking forward to Radiohead next week!
