I love Facebook, I've found some really old friends again, although I expect that is over now I have changed my name!

Still hovering at around 11 stone at the moment. I'm determined to get back on track - starting induction and exercise again on Sunday. I want to be at least 10 and a half stone by the time I return to the UK from Switzerland in one month's time. I've realised I need a deadline as motivation, so the return home is a good one. The next one after that will be to get into a gorgeous dress for my sister's wedding in September (although not as gorgeous as hers of course!!!)

Hi All

In Dubai - having a good time with old friends. Fly to Cyprus on Monday!!!

I have interviews at a couple of places lined up already - so that is exciting.

Can't wait to get back to eating normally - travel is definitely playing havoc with exercise, weight loss. But I am determined to change some of my bad habits once we hit the shores of Cyprus.

I am off to see Boyzone at the MEN (Manchester Evening News Arena) tonight! Seems I have to catch the train as there is some sort of strike on the M6! Then I have to get back to Preston hopefully around midnight for a friend's wild wild party to celebrate his 30th! All of this dressed as a school girl!

Kissa - sorry to hear your news

Well...we've been to the Isle of Man, had a FAB time (little cottage on our own)

Weather was good, which is always a bonus when one's on a motorbike

Home last Sunday, and went to Neil Diamond on Tuesday - brill

no support act, played for almost 2 hours....well worth £75

The crowd was a real mix - equal numbers of men and women (IMHO) and WIDE age range (teenagers to 70+)

Patiently waiting for Uni results, and counting down the days until we go to Cornwall

Oh, and back on induction today - aiming to do until we go on hols

Happy losing...

Ohh I love motorbikes, sounds like you had an ace time!

Yeah I saw Neil Diamond last week, he was ACE! Had this moving stage that he stood on!

Must admit I was blown away by Boyzone, they put on a great show. The staging and the sound were absolutely fantastic. Ended up missing the last train due to partying and had to get a dodgy bus back home in the middle of the night!

I think I did really well on this test. I think it is all the support you guys give me. I was on 70 something and I actually smiled. I thought I know this stuff. I didn't know number 1 but the next 6 it was bam, bam, bam, bam, wham, BANG!! I knew them. Around 98 I started to cough and I thought great I have to get this together. I was finishing up when the lady wrote 30 mins left. So I went back and went of the ones I had circled to check over. So I hit number 1 again and I knew it. I feel very good about this and very positive. I was just shattered and when I finally went to sleep I slept hard and straight through for 16 hours.

I went to the optician today for my checkup. I haven't been since 2003!

Can't believe that long had passed. Mustn't let it go that long again, that's crazy!

Thank goodness I don't need reading glasses, as I feared I just might. But not yet, it turns out. I do need new distance ones though, so I've picked out two pairs (gotta have a spare pair) and I'll collect them on Wednesday.

Turns out the left eye is getting worse and the right eye has actually improved! I can only conclude my right eye is sucking the life force from my left eye.

The pressure test where they blast a so called "puff" of air onto your poor naked eyeball four time - per eye! - was as much fun as ever.

thousands of motorbikes, we had a forum meet (bikers forum), I had my photo taken with the Hairy Bikers - unfortunately someone stole their pig so we couldn't have our hog roast

Best bit..........spending time ALONE with hubby - because I live over here, most holidays are spent going back to Ireland, or else we have family over here. Also hubby's sister and family came over from Oz last year, so many of our holiday's were spent entertaining them. But that's ok, I've had my fix again

It's strange, really, I spend so long studying and juggling work, family, house, etc...........now when I'm having a break from study I find myself really twitchy - as if I have something I should be doing, rather than chilling out (spring cleaning and decorating don't count

)

I had a major brain fart this morning. I woke up feeling great and loving the fact that I get to live in your great county, so I posted on teh main board looking for all the londoners, then Rory reminded me that, duh! you all hang out here!!!

Anywho!! Just wanted to say hi, and to let you know that in case you missed it, I'm loving the fact that I get to live here!! For the time being any way. Also, do you guys ever get together for a LC lunch or anything? I'd love to meet some of you and make new friends while we're here!

Hi everyone else!

I am only tentatively saying this, but I think summer has finally started! We had a major thunderstorm yesterday afternoon, and so much rain in one hour (this I have only seen in the tropics) that everything flooded! Cleared the air, and now we have glorious, warm sunshine. According to most weather forecasts, it will be in the high 20's, low 30's for quite some time!!!!! Yes! This is one of the reasons I moved here, so bring it on!!!!!!

Got a nice long weekend ahead of me, as we have monday and tuesday off for San Juan, so I guess I will be spending most of my time on the beach, starting Friday evening!

got back about half 4 this morning... god i am knackered.. little un is still in bed cos couldnt get him up for school but hubby had to go into work bless him

had a brilliant time. hotel was fantastic and it was very hot, in fact 2 hot the last few days, ate and drank like a pig.. aah well back to reality, doin the washing and induction when i get some food in lol

hope everyone is well, sounds liek u all been having fun while i have been gone... oh and we must organise that meet up again kissa (and anyone else)
