I have 2 cats we rescued in Turkey. They were starving and one had a badly infected paw. SO we took them to the vet and back to the villa and now they are beautiful specimens. Loving and happy.

We also have 2 dogs we rescued in the UK and 4 ferrets also rescued in the UK. All have their pet passports so they could fly here to Turkey. YAY, I love pets.

Mine were about 8 months and because they had been so badly nourished, they are prone to infections. I am hoping they improve in health so the infections get less as time goes on.

Ferrets are lovely cuddly crazy balls of fur and I adore them. A lot of people think they are smelly and vicious. But that doesn't have to be the case.

As for the rules, I got a nasty email same as maryam, telling me I had done wrong and to read the rules. I did but had no idea what I had done wrong. SO I asked what I'd done wrong and never got a reply. Ah well...

Forgot to weigh myself AGAIN today. I try to weigh every day. I know some people think that is wrong. But it helps me keep focussed. Hmm, I may weigh and try to deduct the tea I have drunk.

Congrats to you and your hubby, Cindy!!!!!:he art:

Well, no pets at the moment for me, just got some ants in the kitchen, but I CERTAINLY did not invite them into my house....

I think after all that rain, the weather is FINALLY perking up a bit, at least for today

I started induction this morning and here's my menu for today:

B: 1 egg, HB, cup of coffee with a TB of coconut oil...
L: salad with all sorts of veggies, half an egg, and 1oz of tuna, with some olive oil, vinegar and salt and pepper. Also a grilled piece of meat/fish (I eat my lunch in the company cantine, so I'm a bit limited at times)
D: sashimi of all sorts! and maybe a japanese type salad too...

I also did an hour of callanetics last night, and will probably do that again this evening, or go for a nice walk before dinner with BF...

Have a good day everyone!

I'm getting the impression here that you might be a bit of a Trekkie.

I can't have a cat where I live, but I'd love one. Or two! If I had two, I'd call them Napoleon and Illya. I'm always putting cats in my stories, not always doing much, just being cats. (A bit like real life. ) There's been Duchess, Glyph, Cloud, Smoke and Giotto. (Glyph and Smoke are robot cats. )

I could start an ant farm..... Hmmmmmm..... Unfortunately all pets in the appartment have to be approved by the board... Somehow I suspect that they are going to decline my request....

Coconut oil: I'm having some candida problems, so I've started taking it again, right now I'm dealing with some serious die off, so I'm feeling a little rough....

Thanks, I'm going to go every other day come hail or shine!!

The fibromyalgia is much better, I'm supplementing and had some Bowen treatment which appears to have improved things no end, it helps that with all this exercise I'm sleeping really well too! Life just gets better!
