CENTRAL FLORIDA LCF GET TOGETHER

Okay, since this was mentioned in another thread, I thought I'd put it out here officially ...

There are quite a few of us central Floridians, so why not schedule a place/time to meet up ??!

Rory, Daisyhair, Florida Shell, Cheryl...anyone else want to come out of lurkdom and join us?

I'm totally open to location, but here are a few suggestions: We could meet in Lakeland (half way between Tampa and Orlando) .. Shell, could you suggest a good place? I know there is a Chili's somewhat close to the Polk Parkway (I'm not good with directions, but maybe Shell could get us all there correctly?)

Or anywhere else you might think of ... I don't care as long as they have STEAK !

We could meet up on a Saturday afternoon or a Sunday afternoon, whichever works out best for everyone!

Let me know your thoughts! THIS WILL BE A GREAT CHANCE TO GET TOGETHER IN PERSON!

Yes, yes! Good idea Betty! There is a Chili's on 98 North in Lakeland, right off I-4. That would be exit 32 if I'm not mistaken. What do y'all say??? Let's do this!

Even thoough I live in sarasota area ( Port Charlotte) I lived in Lakeland for 15 years, it's only 1.5 hours from me. So , if your really serious, I'm game.

Chili's Lakeland (off US 98) .. Shell, can you please give detailed directions (for the less than navigatable among us ... (ME!)

I'm lucky if I can find my way to I-4 without a map! Can you please provide directions coming from both east and west!?!

from tampa its I-4 east to exit 32 take a left off of the exit ramp chilis is right up the road on the left

from orlando I-4 west to exit 32 take a right off the ramp and its right up the road on the left

what time of day?

Hey everyone!

I/we'd (myself and my daughter) would LOVE to come, but April 5th isn't good for us. PLEASE let me know if you do this again. Lakeland is about an hour from us. We meet up with people from Largo and that area too, but we haven't met up with them for a while now. I have to get onto them to see if our group is still active.

Enjoy yourselves. It's sooooooooo much fun meeting new people, especially ones that have things in common with you!!!!
