Hi, this is my very first post......I am new here. I felt I needed a resource to help me deal with this diet. So far, I am doing well and am very happy to have found this place! I live in Queens and would love to meet. Late Feb is OK with me, weekends are best, and early March is fine too. Nice to meet you both. I am 32, married, husband is on this too (doing great) and we have both lost about 10 lbs. We started on Jan 2nd. I am amazed that I am not hungry or craving sugar........this is quite unusual for me, but I am going with it!!! I have a lot of weight to lose, over 100 lbs. Hope to meet sometime.

Hi and let me say welcome to this way of life. We've done this before and it takes a lot of effort to get a group together believe it or not. So February 22nd or March lst are both Saturdays. Let's see who's available and take a vote. Then we'll decide on the place. Stick with the plan and hope to see you and your husband at our get together. P. S. I post menus daily and a weekly post your weight on Mondays, both on the main board. Why not join us. Sandy

Here I am again, I just read and replied to a thread on the main board abt. an Atkins Gathering once a month on the first Monday of each month. Wow what a great idea. They ask you to put in your zip code and list restrauants to vote on. So I signed up and they email you if 4 or more people agree to meet. No charge for this service. What's the gimmick I have no idea. But I agreed to be a host for the first one and we'll see what happends. It's MOnday February 3rd at 7 p.m. in NYC at a place to be voted on. Why not give it a try?
