Your welcome....I will post more once this party is over. I got my tree up and I don't like my ornaments. So the ones I am not crazy about I took off. I think I will get some more glass balls tomorrow.

Thanks Cosmic. I am not even thinking of a tree for a while. You are so good in the States about these things. I remember the decorations there just blew me away in the 60's. The outdoor lights everyone raves about over here are just nothing compared to those in the US even then.

Well I am quite pleased with myself as the scales say 129.5 this morning. Not at all bad but must lose something now to get ready for the Xmas blowout!

Hi Rosy, that is some progress in the self defence game!

Oh Shy, yes there is a Costa of course. I am rushing there tomorrow then may get there the following week on the Wednesday. Tomorrow is hopeless as I have too much to do and anyway it is too short notice. Will keep you informed, if it isn't this month it can be next!

Hello Everyone and Happy December.

I have taken the plunge and stopped dying my hair. I am sick of colouring it, I have been grey since 16 so, I figured it is time to see what my real hair looks like again after 22.5 years!

I went off Saturday, but am back on track today. Think induction is in order..

How has everyone's weekend been?

Charlotte

I have been rushing about like a mad thing today, teaching karate this morning, then shopping and housework and fetching the children from their father's house.

Babybel cheese has been my saviour today, lol.

Hope everyone is well.

Have a good journey, Mimosa!

I am at work today. I bored to tears. I have only two people in all day long. I have been making a grocery list. SO...I need to come up with something good for dinner.

I was in Lexington on Friday. I was with a friend and we drove around looking at Christmas lights. Well..this one house knocked my socks off. It is all decked out. I mean lights like something you see on telly. But to top it all off it has already snowed there. They have fake snow and all the ground looks covered. It is like a winter wonderland. I want to go back and take a picture. All I could say to my friend was "someone put their husband to work over Thanksgiving weekend. "

I will check in again later. Crazyness at my house. I was cleaning before work and I hope to finish tonight. I also am thinking about getting a second tree to put in the good living room. Just have to see how I feel about that tomorrow.

Rosie: it's great to see you here!!!!!!!

Ok, I'm seriously stressed, I have a suitcase that weighs about a 100 pounds, so I guess I'll be paying some extra at the airport today to get that one to go with me... Now for the last bits, a little cleaning and I'm off! I'll check in with you all when I'm in Holland tomorrow....

Wow Rosy, you teach Karate, I am impressed! Yes, babybels are lifesavers aren't they?

Teaching is the fun bit, people hanging on to your word and working hard just because you tell them to. Training myself is hard work now thanks to breaking my foot, it's been a long slow recovery. But I'm getting there!

I ate too much at lunch through boredom at work. I'd had enough about three quarters of the way through the salad/prawns/mayo but kept at it for something to do. So I wasn't hungry for dinner.

Congrats, Kissa!

100lb in your suitcase Mimosa, you've lost almost as much as that - that must give you a real sense of achievement!

For some reason I can't get it to let me post attachments. I will email the pictures to Cheri and get her to post them on this thread. I can show you the tree and a picture of all the presents.

Well the party is now up to 350. I can get into my dress. I also got these things called Spanks to make my not jiggle and not to bumpy. I am excited. I am down two pounds this morning. I would love to have 5 more off by Saturday but if not I am ok with that. I have great shoes to wear. They have 4 inch heels. I love them very much. Might have to take a picture of them and post them too.

I have been craving Hob Nobs and Walker Sensations Cheddar and Red Onion Chutney. I think that is what they were called. I know they were Cheddar and Red Onion. How nuts is that??? But not to worry those are things I cannot get here. HeeHee but that was my favorite crips.

OH my "SPECIAL" friend the one from Yeovil I think is coming to visit in March. I am can't wait. I hope I just keep shrinking.

OK will check in later. Still cleaning and getting the house ready for company. OK...everyone have a good day.
Hugs

Glad you can't get your hands on those crisps baby! They are BAD.

Just quietly, what about 'Ben'? Special friends are always good too of course!

Rosy, I am still impressed!!!!

Shy, you are totally mad....but I like ya!

Thanks Cosmic, he died last year, but he is still in my heart. Cobweb was his name.

He was an upside down cat, never happier than when lying in my arms like a baby having his tummy rubbed. He would sleep like that for hours if I let him!

How is your big puppy settling in?

She is doing great. IF I tell you all this you wall will laugh. But everytime we go up to my mom's house she messes in the floor. She leaves a pile. I can't help but think she does that on purpose. I know it is bad but well it makes me smile and I try not to laugh. She is very good and my comedy girl. Boxers have a sense of humor and great facial expressions. She just put her head on my lap. I just can't figure out why she wants to bring her bone to me and chew it on my knees.

Hi All

Doing well at the moment - busy at work - but 8 days at work till I am on holiday!!!!

Just had to mention - that over here they are encouraging Santas (in fact sacking them if they don't) to say hee hee hee, instead of ho, ho, ho. Supposedly - ho, ho, ho might frighten children and has another meaning!!! This is political correctness gone mad!!!!

Shy and Kissa I just like to look at the pretty packages. But I didn't buy all those. Some my parents have bought. I just took mine and added them to make it look like a lot and very festive.

Hope everyone is ok. My Dad's party is tomorrow. I have killer shoes. Just pray I don't really kill myself and fall down.

Ok...need to shower and finish my house. Ugh...final touches before my cousin shows up.
