Since the other thread is so long I thought I would start a new one to try and get a place and time set.

We talked about either Breakfast at Golden Corral or Lunch at Mongolian Grill on the 20th--so come on everyone lets make a choice based on when it is easier for everyone.

Hey Carol I am find with GC also for Breakfast and Pam has a town funtion she wants to attend that night so it is better for her.

Hey does anyone want me to pick up any of the 2 carb 100 calorie Tastee Chocolate Chips cakes for them? I got some for Pam already in My Freezer but they still had plenty the other day.

There is a Low Carb store in Largo Mall everyone can check out. Carol Largo Mall is an open shopping center so it is easy to get in and out not sure why it is called a Mall LOL

We may go over and check out that Low Carb Store...and yes Tim has now entered into busy season with all the snowbirds coming back so he works at home on the weekends finishing and repairing furniture
but he can manage to bring me up on Sat AM for a few hrs best.

Hey Jann and Carol!!

I just found where you posted Jann. YESSSSSSSSS Emilee and I will be there on the morning of Oct. 20th. I think we said 10AM....correct? I'll have to get the address so that I can do a map quest for us. I want to go to the LC store too when we go there.

It's less than 2 weeks from now. Boy Carol, your right, time sure does fly!!!
I'll email Julie about the meet up. She's leaving for Ohio on Wed. but will be back before the meet up. Hopefully she'll be able to make it too. Jann, maybe you can notify some others since they might not have seen this. I just thought it would be on the other post, and I'd get an email when it had something new in it.

Come on people....everyone needs to come to this meet up!!!

Okay-I'm here! Just happened to find this...
I can't sleep and I'm sick of packing-too anxious I guess! As far as I know the 20th will be good for me! As long as the world doesn't fall apart while I'm away

Jann-where exactly is the GC? I would like to go to the LC store-haven't been there in awhile.
I finally hit 274 this am-my 2nd goal!!

Now wish me luck with my trip-and my LC choices. I may not have access to a computer while I'm away, but I'll check back next Weds. Count me in and maybe a DD-not sure yet!

Hey Julie....Yes...that's our baby, Marcee. She's a Maltese. All I can say is she's sooooooooooooo spoiled!!!! She almost has more clothes than I do and she even has a dog stroller. Pretty pink too!

I'm not good at posting pictures but by the time you get back, I'll try to figure out how to post another one of her here, or I'll email you one. I'll show you mine, and you show us yours!

Congrats on hitting your 2nd goal!!! Now enjoy your trip and relax. You'll do fine. Let us know when you get back!!!

Hi Guys and Girls!

We made a trip to the Russell Stover Candy Outlet today in Wildwood, and I bought some SF Toffee Squares. I bought a few extra, and I would love to share some with those of you that like them. If you'll let me know ahead of time, I'll bring some to the GC meet up on Oct. 20th.

Yes Edna, that's our Maltese, Marcee. And YES...she is bigger than normal. Even though she's registered and was supposed to be on the smaller side, she's about 12 pounds. I guess it runs in the family!!!

We weren't going to breed her though so we didn't care but I would have liked her to be smaller. At the time we got her, we had a 4 1/2 pound Yorkie too, so smaller would have been better. Oh well....we LOVE her dearly!!!

Carol.....

They aren't the caramels, they are the Toffee Squares. The package says NO Added Sugar in big letters. Toffee Squares...Covered in chocolate with sweeteners.

The back says....for 1 piece

Carbs.....7.4g per piece
Sugar ....0.04g
Polyols....7.0g (which I am SURE are sugar alcohols)
In the ingredients it lists Maltitol. It doesn't bother us but it might some. I wanted to share with everyone, or anyone that can or wants to eat them. Some people don't eat SF candy but we do, when we just HAVE to have something.

If you've never had these, they are pretty hard. You can't just bite into them. You have to eat them slow. When I see toffee, I think of soft chewy candies. These are hard and crunchy. It takes a bit for us to eat one. One goes a long ways.

YES Carol, time does fly by. It will be Saturday before we know it. It seems like it will be the same group of people there but that's OK. We had a good time and we'll have another one!!!

People don't know what they are missing!

Renne....I'm sorry you all can't make it, but one of these meet ups, you will. We'll miss you guys.....

We'll see the rest of you on Saturday morning!!! And again, if any of you want some of these toffee's, please let me know! I bought extra's to share. Please don't make us have to eat all of these ourselves!!

Busy Season is here the snowbirds are returning and while we like the eXtra business it creates...

DH and I Regret we can't be at the breaky Sat AM...
Tim is working Sat he is piled up with work...we will hopefully make it to November's Meeting.

If you don't mind me asking, what does Tim do for a living? I know my hubby gets busier too when the snow birds arrive. With him driving a charter bus, they just LOVE to go places, so he's on the road a lot!

For sure you'll have to make the November meet up. So speaking of that, le'ts talk soon about where and when that will be. With Thanksgiving being on Nov. 22nd this year, maybe we should plan for the middle part or the month.

Pam...DH does most phases of Furniture Repair.
Right now a customer came back from up north and
handed him a key to a storage locker and asked him to do over every piece inthere. She is interior decorating the full insides of an estate in order to make it market ready.
It will be sold all redecorated they are looking for a handsome $

Makes me wonder why I never went into this line of work??

He has a project going at present with velvet seat covers where the nap on the fabric matters.

Gee sorry it looks like I thought I was writting a book??

It takes a bit for us to eat one. One goes a long ways. YES Carol, time does fly by. It will be Saturday before we know it. It seems like it will be the same group of people there but that's OK. We had a good time and we'll have another one!!! People don't know what they are missing! Renne....I'm sorry you all can't make it, but one of these meet ups, you will. We'll miss you guys..... We'll see the rest of you on Saturday morning!!! And again, if any of you want some of these toffee's, please let me know! I bought extra's to share. If you don't mind me asking, what does Tim do for a living? I know my hubby gets busier too when the snow birds arrive. With him driving a charter bus, they just LOVE to go places, so he's on the road a lot! For sure you'll have to make the November meet up. So speaking of that, le'ts talk soon about where and when that will be. With Thanksgiving being on Nov. 22nd this year, maybe we should plan for the middle part or the month. Pam

Right now a customer came back from up north and handed him a key to a storage locker and asked him to do over every piece inthere. She is interior decorating the full insides of an estate in order to make it market ready. It will be sold all redecorated they are looking for a handsome $ Makes me wonder why I never went into this line of work?? He has a project going at present with velvet seat covers where the nap on the fabric matters.
