UK/Europe/World - October
Happy October! - It's definitely a lot colder and the nights are drawing in . . . Halloween and bonfire night is just around the corner . . . I must admit I like my cosy winter nights in and all the lovely meals that winter veggies bring. This year I look forward to veggie soup and LC bread (as a treat of course!)

Lou your are so good to start a new one.
Well...I am doing a challenge for the next 8 weeks. It is on the Century club support unlimited if anyone else wants to do this. So I will let you all know how my progress is going. My dad's retirement party is Dec 8th and it is black tie. So well...I need to look really good. So I will be working hard. Things are good here at home. My brother is taking advantage a bit but I won't get on that soap box. I told my mom he needs to ask if I can take care of the kids not assume. Well...the weather is in the 80's I hope to get some sun a few more times before it gets cold. It has been really nice the past few days. I hope everyone is doing ok... to you all. I am over my homesickness so I will post more. When I get quite it is cause normally something is bothering me. I was just missing the UK a lot.

Hi All.
I'm around, just not posting. Having food issues, etc. Good thing is, I'm back to my lowest goal weight, but my eating disorder behavior has been rearing it's ugly head occasionally, and so I've been feeling low and not feeling like posting on a BB where weightloss and food is discussed. I'm doing allright though, taking it one day at a time! Good news though: I got a new job and it's taking me to Barcelona!!! Really excited! So in the new year, I'll be one of your Europe posters and not UK anymore! I really would love to have a meet up sometime before the end of November, as I'll leave the country on the 1st of December... You've always been here and I just want to say thanks in person and apologise also for being a bad poster! Thanks anyway, and I'll post when I feel ok! xxx. |

Hello...there...I was very bad this weekend. I had a little too much Blueberry vodka and lemonaid. HeeHee But I did have a good time. My farmer friend came to visit and we had a blast. Sat on the back porch and listened to the crickets and just got silly.
Everything is going ok here. We are supposed to get some rain and we are hoping that help because everything is so dry. I am in a great mood. Hope that everyone is doing ok. Ohh and it was in the 90's this weekend. I did manage to work on my tan a little bit. It was really nice. |

Hi everyone!
Cosmic: ooh, those temperatures sound lovely at the mo! I can't wait myself to be moving to Barcelona: no more freezing cold winters, and not so much damp, dreary days! Today's a good day: I feel happy and not so anxious about the whole eating business... I guess it comes and goes, but the last couple of months or so have been really awful, and in between starving myself and bingeing myself till I was so full it hurt, I'm now trying to find a middle way... I'm back to a comfortable size 12, and all that with eating low GI/GL... I've stopped measuring my food, and I've stopped my stress eating, and with feeding my body at regular intervals with highly nutricious foods, my body has decided to drop a few pounds here and there, so that's very motivating! Definitely a reason to try and be 'normal' about food again! Sorry to dump all my issues here, but I needed to talk a little... Hope you all have a lovely day, xxx. |

Mimosa you will find your balanceWell...it rained yesterday and it has cooled off a bit not a lot. I was chasing the dogs this morning. Trying to get them home. I saw them up near the road and they got into so much trouble. Other than that things are good. I am off to Lexington tonight and I will do a bit of shopping. Wish me luck, I need some trousers for Monday. |

I am so stupid!!!!!
![]() I looked at the thread when it was started then, 'cos I hadn't posted I forgot all about it. Only today when I wanted to post did I realise I had missed so much. ![]() Anyway, sorry everyone. Eid Mubarak Blondie! Good to see you Mimosa. Glad all is good Cosmic. Hope you have a wonderful year this year Shy. Lou, how is the new greenhouse? Enjoy your week off. Now, do any of you eat the GG crispbreads? I hadn't realised they sold them in Holland and Barret! I love them and just pigged out on 5 of them with butter and Marmite....not really a good maintainance meal but I did start with some very healthy asparagus. ![]() I used to eat them years and years ago when I did slimming World, they sold them at the meetings. Now the roof of my mouth is all torn as punishment. ![]()

Morning!
Kissa: I love those crispbreads!!! I used to have them with cottage cheese, chives and smoked salmon... YUM!!! Just don't be surprised about your newly aquired potty habits.... LOL!!!!! Lou: Where are you off to next week? Cosmic: how did the shopping go? Did you come home with what you intended to get? Shy: I'm with you on the darkness... very UGH indeed! I've got one of those SAD light thingys at work, and I use it for a couple of hours a day... seems to help a little I think! I do think my depression and wallowing in self pity is enhanced by the reduction in daylight... I am going outside this weekend for a long walk, that should help too! Maid: hope you're well! I saw that you are just as amused/intrigued/shocked by the whole KK thing as I am... Kinda hard keeping up with that thread though, isn't it! Everyone else: hope you are all well! Has anyone seen Juno lately? And how is Mint/Vicky? And Maryam/Blondie? And LisaUK? And Simtas? And Shantony/Shay? Where are they all??? I know I've been AWOL for a while, but it seems like we're missing half our peeps in this thread!!!! I'm sure I've forgotten some as well, but do you think they lost the way to October? Anyway, all is ok here today. My head seems to be ok, no feeling down in the dumps! I just bought a pair of skinny jeans, and I look good in them! I'm managing to eat around 1500cals a day, which is good, quite a task, it feels like I'm eating all day long, but at least I'm getting there! My skin seems to have it's glow back too, so I'm on a high today! I think I'll even venture out for a few drinks and be sociable tonight.... The only thing that stresses me out is that I want to be ok with the whole eating thing by the time I move to Spain in the new year, as I don't want to have to deal with a new country, job, language, culture AND an ED! So the ED has to be dealt with now, so it will be one less thing to worry about when I start my new life! Well, gotta go, hope some of the missing UK/Worlders will come and do a little fly by posting, have a great weekend, xxx. |

Great that you are glowing again Mimosa.
Yes we are low on the boards at the moment. I just hope everyone is okay. I sent a PM to Shay but had no response. Vicky/Mint is fine and very busy. Has had a few wobbles with LC but is now back on track. Maryam is around on the other UK threads. |

Yeah, there are a couple of gals missing on this thread. Come out, come out. Wherever you are!
Mimosa, you sound so much more upbeat today. Yep, I've been following the KK thread because I can't believe how people got scammed. And also to provide a little comic relief. The whole thing is completely bizarre. It's like a paperback novel. Shy, have you read any of the KK threads. I'd be interested in what you think of what has happened? back to work and off to make a cuppa tea. bye ladies! |

Maid: I was a loyal KKer and did the K/E regularly... It didn't help that I had and ED whilst doing it..... Anyway, I feel cheated and quite bummed out by the whole sad story! Can't believe she got away with conning so many people, and they were all people who were looking for their perfect way to lose weight... Sometimes you don't see things for what they really are because you hope that this time it will work.... Sad indeed... Anyway, I'm bemused over the whole thing, yet I find it hilarious as well! Teaches me not to be so gullible about everything people tell you, even when there's a lot of people following the advice... xxx.

hi everyone.. glad u feel better today mimosa
maid i glanced a few times at the KK thread and i have to say i couldnt belive the lengths people were going to ... it all seemed a little OTT to me....i have to say i cant look at them anymore cos people are saying nasty things about tippy and as u all know shes a good friend of mine so best i dont look anymore in case i get angry and say something i shall regret and then i will be gone from here lol and then i wont have u lot anymore <sniff> whatever KImmer has or has not done i canonly say the original plan worked for me, if she was saying to eat less and less than that is not good but if u use the original one that was on here its fine (IMHO)... maybe the success went to her head but lets face it there are lots of quacks out there (dare i say gillian thingy for one) and i still think if the whole thing fell apart it would be sad cos people rely on that board like they rely on this one anyways have a great weekend everyone xx |

Shy, if you feel that way then you are right to stay out of the thread. I don't think it would be easy for anyone to hear disparaging things about their friend and I respect that.
I have made my opinions in the fascination thread and they are quite negative regarding the entire crew over at Kimkins. But since this isn't really the place for it, I won't discuss it any further than that in this thread. Did you decide what to do with your ashes, did you plant a tree or anything? Sorry if I missed that. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here. It's like a lovely blast of warmth at the end of a rather blah summer. We are planting fruit bushes here. My dh is getting too carried away. I think he has something like a dozen currant bushes. What on earth will we do with all that fruit? Who is going to end up making all that jam (looks around and sees all fingers pointing at me!)...
