ok, so I thought your post said where are you.... I am doing pretty good, excited because I lost 2 more...woohoo! I totally think its from chasing my girls around and keeping them from getting in to anything, but hey excersise is excersise right?

I live south of the airport. Near Peachtree City. Some friends of mine just moved from Locust Grove to Newnan.

I bet your girls do keep you busy. I have one boy and he's enough for me.

Congrats on the loss! I started Tuesday and I'm down 3.5 - water I'm sure. Is this your first time on Atkins?

my DH is from Brooks (Fayette County) and I have some family in PTC. The girls totally wear me out, but its really worth it. Got it all done in one shot

I was on Atkins once before and lost 30 pounds, then a short while later found out I was pregnant....I dont plan to be pregnant again so I am going to try to get back to that weight. As of this am, I am 188!!!! YEAHHHHHH!

I'm doing Atkins Extended Induction. I'm a month and a little bit in - if you don't count a 24-hour off-plan thing I did last week.. damn stress eating..
Plan is to stay on induction until I'm at 275 or the end of the year, whichever happens later.
Thanks for the welcome. We should plan a potluck get together at some central location/house every few months, or more frequently if we're able & willing..

thats a GREAT idea!!!! We can figure out all the logistics, or maybe even meet somewhere by the Airport (Ruby Tuesday's would be a favorable spot to keep us all on track). Give me plenty of time to get a sitter for the triplets, and I am good to go.

Far as stress eating goes, girl I hear ya! My problem is that I was blessed with an nondiscriminating pallet. I mean I love ALL food.....but now I try to keep pork rines, sugar free fudgesicles, string cheese and other stuff handy so I can stay on track...

Remember, nothing tastes as good as skinny feels! We can totally do this ya'll!

I had plenty of food, and I made plenty more. I'm so full it's disgusting. But, at least it was all legal food. Definitely went over on carbs, but better than the B&J's I had last week. LOL.

I can get DH to watch my two kids for me.. Sunday's are my 'day off' so that's best for me for justifying time away w/o the kids..

Love Ruby Tuesday! Just wish it wasn't so expensive. Also wish they'd get that LC cheesecake back!! (Maybe I'll make one and sneak it into RT in my purse, tee hee)

No plans for us this weekend. Lots of chores to do around the house.

I'm up a bit this morning - probably water weight or just the weight of the extra food I ate yesterday trying to avoid cheating on sugar or refined white.. I know it will be gone a lot sooner than if I'd cheated. Lots of water today. Clean Induction.

Definitely would like a meetup w/ other LCers in this area. That would be cool!

good morning ladies! I was up this morning and I guess I am just going to see what happens...sometimes I wonder if weighing every day is a good idea, then I realize that it doesnt matter because I am going to do it any way.

Got the gazelle set up in the bedroom, the girls are down for a nap - now I have no excuse. Going to get on for 20 minutes (if possible). I am trying to eat nothing but clean induction foods today. I wonder about my protein shake that I mix up in the morning though...oh well its good and it is only 1 carb.

Melissa, Kimmie - ladies we can totally do this! I am glad we have found some local buddies. I have no clue about moving this to the challenges board, if you think we should thats fine by me.

As for the weekend......well, I am going to finish cleaning out the garage. We are going to close it in and make a big family room/play room for the girls. We really need the space and I want to get it done so I can quit tripping over toys every time I move in the living room....you cant even begin to imagine the toys/walkers/crap.

How was your weekend? Did you stay on plan? I did and even though I over indulged a bit on Saturday I never came out of ketosis. I am carrying a good bit of water weight though, so my loss for last week was only 3 pounds.

hey, sorry its taken me so long to get on here. We got the girls ears pierced today and yesterday was just SUPER busy. Such is the three ring circus called my life

I did very good over the weekend but I seem to have hit a brick wall, oh well, I am still hangin on. I think I really need to try this one minute muffin every one is talking about. Apparently it helps "keep things moving" as it were. Probably TMI, but its starting to become an issue for me....oh well.

Are ya'll doing ok? what are some good snack ideas that ya'll have found?

Uh-oh where'd everyone go? I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Tomorrow wraps up my official two week induction (although I really didn't follow the strictest rules) and I'm down 14 total. I'm going to the beach this weekend and I'd really like to lose 6 more. I know it probably won't make that much of a difference but I'd feel good w/ a nice even number. I'm a dork I know.

I'm still here. Just letting life get me down. DH is out of town on business for his sucky job. I'm 3 weeks late. Took another test this morning - negative. My eating hasn't been the best, but I'm actually still losing a bit of weight. That's thanks to the Intermittent Fasting, I'm sure.
I'll be better once my happy pills kick in, I swear.

hey ladies! what a week! I have missed being on here! But all three girls have ear infections, strep and scarlet fever... basically a VERY rough week so far. But we are quarantined until at LEAST thursday - oh wait, thats tomorrow...woohoo

I have stayed true to plan, but not losing very rapidly, not sure what the deal is. I guess if I am going to be positive I havent gained any...

Mel, are we hoping that the test turns positive?????

I'm torn. There is a small part of me that would be thrilled to be pregnant again. But, considering DH had a vasectomy 4 days ago.. it's obvious 'we' aren't wanting more. It's best if we're not, for many reasons, but I am still in love w/ the idea of having one more.

I know what you mean... I totally have my hands full right now, but the thought of not having any more is just hard. I would love to have ONE more, but since I am fertile mertyl, we have a 85% chance of having AT LEAST twins. That would be crazy! But the more we think of having the vasectomy, the more I dont want to limit my options. I dont think we will have any more, but just knowing we couldnt would really make me want more. make sense????

Yikes. Twins run in both DH and my families. So far we've had singletons, but it would just be our luck that 'our last' would end up being two. LOL. That totally makes sense. It's like going on a baby diet - you know you aren't going to have more, so you gorge beforehand. I want to get pregnant like now because I know in a couple of months it won't ever happen again.. <sigh> I'm nuts.

Update.. I'm not pregnant. In fact, AF came back w/ a vengeance this month. Up 6 pounds. Ouch. Went back to Intermittent Fasting last week and have gone from AF weight of 299 to 287 this morning. I've only been hungry for 1 meal within my 5 hour eating window. I gotta say I've got more energy than I know what to do with. I actually did laundry today. Even changed the sheets on my bed. Had a little fun w/ DH while the kids were otherwise occupied <wink>.. Tomorrow we're working on cleaning out and organizing our garage. Oh, and lots of walking lately. Had to go to the airport to pick up DD and ended up walking to the terminal instead of taking the train. Felt great.
I started out doing Induction, but w/ the IF that felt too restrictive for me, so now I'm doing CAD. Seems to be working out well so far.
How is everyone else doing? Ready for the holidays?
