GOOD MORNING SHIRLEY!

So glad to meet you.

Hope you enjoyed Cocoa as we do. So close to all wonderful recreation facilities. Disney, Sea World, Universal and etc.

We are about 50 minutes away from Cocoa beach.

Will you be Low Carbing?

Hope to hear from you again.

GOOD MORNING SHIRLEY

Glad to see that you are again LC (low carbing). I have been doing it since 7/15/02 but really learning all about it since mid August. It is the first time that I have been able to lose weight and feel wonderful doing it. This is definitely a WOL (way of life) for me.

I did slip a little durng the holidays, about a pound. I am truly trying to read my body, stress vs. indulgenge and etc. with a degree of success. How much is a stone???

It is going to be 72 today. A comfortable temperature. One that you would definitely enjoy.

Hope to hear from you soon.
HAVE A TERRIFIC LC DAY!

i just like all those other foods but when i start eating them i tend to binge
this seems to be the only diet i dont cheat on
how much weight have you got to lose and how much have you lost

GOOD MORNING!

Since July I have lost 18 pounds and 8 inches since 10/25/02.

As you can see I am only 4'7" tall. One pound on me looks like 5 on another person. On my signature it shows original wt. as 170, now 152, and goal of 106.

I am doing it for health reasons primarily, but I do have a VAIN streak in me. Want and need to look GOOD.

I am doing the LIFESPAN PROGRAM by Drs. Hellers. Started that on 8/15. Feel absolutely energized.

I also am a Carbohydrate Addict. There is no such thing as ONE piece of bread. Must have the loaf, sort to speak.

Today, will be 77. Enjoy our poolside chats yesterday with friends. Unfortunately the pool heater broke down and water temp. was only 67....No way for me. TTTTOOOOO COLD.

HAVE A TERRIFIC LC DAY!

GOOD MORNING SHIRLEY!

Nice to hear from you again.

Sounds like you are having a bit of problems keeping worm at work. Have had a few of those cold days in past work places. Very uncomfortable for 8 hour shifts. Hope you words will be heard.

Your children came home. How nice. How many do you have? I only have one son and lives in Rhode Island.

How lucky you are to only have 14 lbs. to lose. I certainly know what you mean about toast and butter. I am a carbohydrate addict. Can't just have ONE of anything. I even make my own Italian bread for DBF. I haven't had a slice in two months. During the Christmas season, I had 1 cup of pasta, which was prepared with cauliflower, breadcrumbs, olive oil and parmesean cheese. It is an ITALIAN TRADITION to have the "VIGILE" on the eve of Christmas. (DBF (dear boy friend) is very ITALIAN. To get to the story...I truly enjoyed the pasta; but the next day I felt horrible. I was lethargic and my body felt like it weighed 1000 lbs. This is just like I felt before starting this WOL. Now this is the 3rd. time since July that I had carbs and the 3rd. time that I did not feel well. So, I am truly beginning to feel that carbohydrates are truly bad for me. LIVE AND LEARN.

Very cold today. Only going to be 54. Something to do with "el nino". We have had a cooler longer cold spell than any year I can remember since 1996.

Hope you have a TERRIFIC LC DAY!

GOOD MORNING SHIRLEY AND NORMA!

Well, concerning weather warm-up...This year has been an EARLIER AND COLDER WINTER SEASON...

Norma~ if you are planning a gathering in Cocoa Beach, a safe time should be March, before spring break. Surf around the net for real good prices on accommodations. Also, if AAA member they sometimes buy group of rooms at special prices. We did save lots in Vegas this year through their booking.

If you come to Cocoa...even look into 3 day cruises to Bahamas. About $279....all meals are included and etc...

If staying in Cocoa...there are the gambling ships that go right out for 4 hrs. FREE... PICK-UP/DELIVER FROM HOTEL, FOOD, MUSIC, GAMBLING AND JUST A NICE DAY OR NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN. SUN CRUZ OR STERLING ARE THEIR NAMES (SHOULD BE ONLINE).

Hope that helps. UMM Maybe I should start TRAVEL AGENCY...LOL

Shirley has vacationed in Cocoa Beach...Think she too can attest to above...

PERSONALLY, I LIKE THE CRUISE IDEA...

THANKS MURIEL,for the info.

Sounds great...i sent the info to the other jewels. I have a sister that lives in Leesburg but i don't know anything else about Fl. We went there to spend last Christmas with them but that's it,no way to judge the weather that time of year. She is from Baltimore, retired there, but they are moving back north as soon as house is sold. Grandkids keep them on the road or in the air going to school stuff and ect...so they're moving back!!!!

Thanks again...nj
