No, no, no. Boots are hearing this every day, they will really help. There is a good cream but I can't remember its name. Will try to find it.

I owe £5,000 to inland revenue because my company had me on the wrong tax code.

Aarrrggh. Terrible night's sleep, due to the deadly combination of strong wind (no, outside, not personal!) and people leaving their wheely bins out between bin days. Thus leading to what can only be called an all night skittles game with wheely bins as the pins being played out in the back lane. Bangs, crashes, sliding. Oh, gawd!

That's unusual. They are usually pretty reliable. I rarely have a problem with Tesco delivery, but one winter evening, I was waiting for one, and customer services called and said the driver had had a fall on some ice, during a previous delivery and broken his arm! So he had to go to hospital. So they gave me a delivery slot the next day. The next day the snow started lashing down, and they rang up again to say all their deliveries were cancelled, since the yard with the vans was literally snowed in! Oh man! So I got another delivery slot and third time lucky, that did arrive without incident....

but...

The third one was a more expensive delivery slot than the others and they charged the higher delivery price! Well I wasn't having that and fired off an email, saying I wasn't complaining about the problems with the delivery as it wasn't their fault, just bad luck. But it wasn't my fault either, I hadn't change the slot through choice, so could I have the difference back, please? (It was like a quid more. I'm such a tightwad! ) They gave me the full fee back, though sadly not the full cost of the shopping.

The Customer Service for Tesco has always been great for me. I zap off an email about anything missing and it's refunded no problem. Rarely have anything missing though.

I woke up this morning, bathroom lightbulb burnt out. So I had to drag out the step ladders while still barely awake. While putting them away I knocked an ornament off my dressing table and broke it.

And it's TOM. And it's cold and windy today. And everything I eat apparently is some kind of weight loss staller.

Something good better happen today or I could get very, very pissed off.

We were discussing this on another board I go to. Turns out what you need is an "internet will", with instructions for the places you go to that they'd notice you're missing if you got hit by a bus, so your executor could go and sort things out and let people know what happened. Which is a very wierd thought.

It is a good idea, and I might look into it.

I do know that Lou is busy with stuff at present still miss her jokes.

We have lost some wonderful people with no warning and one just can't help wondering if they are safe, that is all I need to know really.
