Ah, now it makes sense. My DH is fed up with being a LCF widower! He used to spend hours on his laptop before I got mine and said I would never use one enough if I had one. Now I have one and it drives him potty that I seem to use it more than he does!!!

I've got a spot, just under my bottom lip the size of a bloody football. And painful too! Dammit! Can't it at least pop and flatten out so I can put some concealer on it tomorrow? Cause as it is now, concealer ain't gonna cut it. It'll have to be encased in concrete like Chernobyl.

Sorry, gross.

It's slightly better this morning and concealer is covering it fairly well. But I just know this damn thing is going to take a fortnight to go away.

Today's complaint, got a muscle cramp in my leg on the way in to work. Ow!!! Any way I can blame it on Atkins? (Rather than it being a sign of aging! )

Aaargh, this cramp is not going away! I've been walking up and down the office like a loony half the morning, done gentle calf stretches and it's still not going. Was meant to start exercising again today, but if this doesn't ease off soon I'm stuffed for that. Ever get the feeling fate is conspiring against you?

Is it actually possible to get pottassium on its own anyway? My multivits and minerals has 40mg in it, but is that a lot or what? There's no RDA for it. I just did a quick check on Boots website and Healthspan (my usual supplements source) and they don't have any such thing as a potassium supplement. What foods is it in (Induction friendly ones!)

This still hasn't gone away, so I reckon it must be a pulled muscle. A cramp would surely have eased off by now. So that's exercise stuffed till it heals.

But now the important question: take sickies or not?

Too true that stuck at home I'll turn into the snack monster. As long as I can actually walk I'll come to work.

I'm popping (or hobbling) into the chemist on the way home, so I'll look for the lavender and tea tree oil.

LOL about the potatoes. It's like "No potato? Does not compute."

I'll poke my nose in next time I'm in town. Actually, the leg is improving rapidly, which is good.

Hang on, winge thread, must complain. My magnesium hasn't arrived from Healthspan yet, the post in my area is rubbish. Oh and my recycling box has vanished.

Bananas for potassium. Also, if you are suffering from cramps, add salt. I tried to do low sodium but got severe leg cramps at night when I was sleeping - or trying to sleep! I found some natural sea salt - tastes much saltier than regular table salt - but lower in sodium and suppose to be much better for you. Cramps gone - happy again!

May have to look for lavender and tea tree oil. DD is complaining about spots again and we just finished her course of Acutane 6 months ago. Don't know if they will let her do another course.

Try a drop or two of lavender in bath water I also use epsom salts (Magnesium sulphate - Magnesium also helps with cramp, I take a supplement too!) I get it in 25kg bags from the net but you can buy it from garden centres, it's used to make things greener, doesn't work that way on humans though Great for mucscle relaxation and helps me sleep!

Tea tree is great for spots, I put a few drops in my son's bath water when his acne is itching it works really well for that, but just be warned to try a bit first as some people are really sensitive to it!

Shy - That is so funny I come across things like that all the time . . .

I don't have a whinge but the week is yet young!!

Kevin Spacey is yummy . . . I saw the 'Actors Studio' programme about him, he was funny, intelligent and so natural. I love men like that!! Would I?

I'm certain that's what they do to my street! Sometimes nothing for days, then a suspiciously large number of items at once. (Most of which is junk anyway.) I'm trying to get more of my bills via email. Most are paid direct debit anyway, so are "for information only", so why have yet more paper?
