I could probably do without one. There's about 10 clocks of various sorts in my house (why does my microwave need to know what time it is? ) and then when I'm out and about I've always got my mobile and my PDA with me. Yeah, who needs a watch? Down with watches!

u know i was jus saying the other day to someone they all keep moaning at us to turn things off etc etc but we didnt use to have clocks and electronic gadgetry on absolutely everything.. i cant even turn my TV off it has to stay on standby so who exactly caused this problem.???

same as with plastic bags the shops started giving them tous to get us to use them instead of someone else so now they all give them away free, people got used to that now its oooh nooo u should bring yr own

aaah ok... well that i can tell u

right click on the address bar (it will all go blue) then click copy.. go to where u want to put the addy, then right click again and click paste and voila there is the copied addy... now how i made it say uk europe i have no idea sorry lol

My TV is like that, and I could stand it for about a week, then I just thought "stuff that" and started turning it off anyway, even though that makes it lose the clock time. Well, I only need the clock if I want to do a timed video recording (it's a combi unit) and I hardly do that any more anyway. I hardly watch any broadcast TV any more, this week, only Heroes and Dr Who. The rest of the time it's all DVDs.

I've taken to trying to carry a carrier bag in my bag all the time. And I take my own bags if I'm going on a planned shopping trip. But I still end up with a plenty of disposable bags.

I read that in Ireland, they banned the standard supermarket carrier bags, and over the next year the sale of small bin liners jumped several hundred percent! So people had obviously at least been re-using them once to line their bins.

junk.. i wouldnt even know how to use a PDA or why i would want to use one lol

trouble is to turn off my tv i have to turn the whole system off and then reset it all which takes forever grrrr.. i have taken to carrying my own bags too just like i did when went shopping for my mum as a kid lol

Is it too much to ask that a pair of trousers last more than two weeks before the bloody hem comes down?

Why don't they just sell clothes unhemmed and with no buttons? Just include a needle and thread and a packet of buttons, because you know you'll be sewing the hems and buttons eventually!

oh and my whinge how the hell can it be half the temperature from one week to the other.... last saturday i was laying in the sun baking in temps of 24 ish this saturday its half that at 12 and flippin raining.. only in england

Meh, I can't be arsed to go back the the town and return them. I have to do some sewing anyway to repair a skirt zip and a button that came off a jacket. I'll sort it then.

The bloody weather, it's just getting colder and colder! I'm sitting here wrapped up in layers and have put the heating back on. I guess the old saying about "cast ne'er a clout till May be oot" is true. (Which I think mean, "keep your vest on till June.")

Ack. I'm in a moody today. Wasted my time last night when I should have been writing. It's peeing down with rain outside, I'm bored at work and wish I was just snuggled up someplace with a good book and a big bar of chocolate. Well, the last bit is out of the question of course! Unless it's a big bar of low sugar chocolate, and then I'll have even more reasons to be in a moody as I spend the next several hours in the toilet.

Hmm, I think I'll go write in my journal about how ticked I am and try to clear it out of my head.
