I am moving to the Gatineau area of Quebec hopefully by the end of July if things work out right.

I am wondering about shopping there, I would like to be able to buy stuff locally instead of ordering online and dealing with customs for anything, they have been a nightmare so far.

I am also in need of a restaurant supply store that I can buy kitchen supplies from, I don't want to pay premium prices at a specialty store when I can get the same thing or better for much less at a supply store.

In Los Angeles where I am we have smart & final stores (among others) which have everything you could eed at near wholesale prices, is there anything like that in Quebec?

I would also like to be able to buy the different flours, flavorings and stuff for lc cooking and baking, like bob's red mill product or similar items, are these available in stores anywhere there?

I'd love a trader joes but I know they are not in Canada, I emailed them and begged them to open a store

is there anything similar to them?
