UK/Europe/The World - 'Wibble' Challenge

I really need to move my bum and get some regular exercise, I have a trampette that I should be jumping on more often, a tai chi DVD that needs to be used at least once a week and a skipping rope, I do have dumbbells and a rowing machine but I have tennis elbow so I can’t use them at the mo.

Does anyone fancy starting a UK/Euro/The World exercise challenge? It needs to be a twice a week thing I think, I sound vague don’t I . . . that’s why I need this challenge. When I have to be accountable I’ll do it and not wanting to let people down is a positive thing that I can use to my advantage.

It doesn't have to be intense just a challenge to get yourself moving more.

Who’s to join me?

I was just throwing it out there, great idea. . . 3 times a week would be good . . .

Okay I'll start. . . my days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday(subject to change, I'll post if it does) As it's Friday tomorrow I'll set my alarm for half an hour earlier and bounce, then I'll post about it tomorrow. I might even take a photo in my gear

We could post our goals at the beginning of the week, say Sunday/Monday and our goals met at the end Friday/Saturday.

Although anyone can join at anytime, on anyday

you crack me up, lou bi. Here we go lou-b-lou. here we go lou-b-lie...do you know that song?

I have no exercise motivation. I'll admit it, I hate it and don't do it as I should. I will join your challenge, my friend. I'm in for M, W, F. So I'll be with you tomorrow doing at least thirty minutes of something. And I will post results, but no pics.

Do you like the trampoline? Is it a good workout, is it boring just jumping? I've seen them but wondered if worth the money? do you jog on it, just bounce, what?

anybody do Callenetics? Great workout, but Callen creeps me out, way too anorexic looking, all bony and sunken cheeks.

Mum - have no fear - we will be doing some exercise classes - maybe not 3 a week - but I'm going to the gym - so you'll probably want to come with me!

Kissa, well done . . .

I did some steps today because bouncing turns out to be bad for my arm Sooo I'm adding in a walk tomorrow am, I'm going into the village which is a mile walk to and a mile walk from so 1 + 1 = 2 miles, just so we're all clear on that! Certainly don't want to miss an inch out there . . . Sooo that said Cosmic, walking is a very fine exercise indeed!!

Mint, that is so cool, good on you for going to the gym!

Maid - Callenetics is out then I'm not doing it if it makes you anorexic looking, the catwalks would be all over me and I just couldn't stand the pressure or the fame or the fortune. . .

I walked . . . OMG it's sooooooooooooooooooo hard, proper walking, in big steps, in the wind

I can exercise, I can spend all day on my feet, I can chase up and down the corridors at work . . .

I used to walk all the time, I'm sure it wasn't this hard . . . what's going on??

Am off to do Body Pump in an hour or so - then think I might do the Body Balance class afterwards - I have one very tight calf muscle and this might help it out!

Did not do 'proper exercise', i.e. video, etc., but did do major cleanup outside which involved moving rocks the size of footballs and resulted in me being all sweaty, so it counts.

That definitely counts!

Well done Vicky, too.

I made it to the gym yesterday and did a great LBT class, a real all rounder.

Vicky it was taught by Mandy Pearman who says you didn't reply to her e mail. She has lost 2 stone this year and is doing C25K, now running 25mins on the treadmill. I told her how well you have done.

It has been sunny but with a really cold wind here in Devon. A bit less this evening but I haven't felt warm all day.
