I am gonna do SOMETHING tonight while I'm at work. I am gonna go into that gym tonight for 30 mins instead of walk past it. No excuse really why I could work on my arms. I'll be a tad sweaty but who cares at 3:30 AM??? By the time guests wake up, I'll be going home and maybe no one would notice how "ripe" I am...LOL!! We'll see...send me good vibes to get it done tonight!!!

Well I only got in 30 minutes today and yesterday I only did my 30 minutes pluse curves. I told my mom we must walk tomorrow evening. I always feel much better when we do and it is good for us to talk.

I've been lifting weights this week. Yaaay!!! Been working on the arms. They were so sore that first day and the day after. Went back and did it again. Now it's that night again.

How long does it take to turn pudding into steel? I THINK I feel a bicep trying to form....LOL...seriously....never had any arm muscles or upper body strength. My son grabs my arm all the time and squeezes it and says "mmmmm pudding" then kisses it. I laugh and say "Stop that". He does it constantly...like he's fascinated at how soft it its...LOL!

Oh, well done Shy, you'll get there. Most people after surgery sit back and take it easy but not you, you're made of much sterner stuff, I admire that.

. . . too late . . . I did 20 mins on the treadmill for you

Got to the gym at last yesterday. 45 mins step class followed by an hour of a general body conditioning class.

Say hi to all you celebs Shy! Don't work too hard yet PLEASE?

Has anyone here any experience of those vibrating plate machines? Sorry I can't think what they are called. I overheard someone singing their praises today.

Well I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna accept the free membership to Gold's Gym through my job. A co worker will pick me up when I get off and we'll head down the road to the gym, work out and she'll give me a lift home. She keeps ranting and raving about the "Butt Blaster"...I need my butt blasted or something...losing the weight is making me saggy in the rear. I need to lift and tone. LOL!!!

Friend told me to exercise said my bum was starting to look like a raisin...Gee thanks!!!!

I don't know what they're called Kissa but we have one at our gym, I quite like it and use it to help cool down after running. It's harder than it looks though have you used it yet?

Shay - 'raisin' I can't believe your friend said that . . . Free membership, how cool and well done for starting

I haven't used it yet though I had a little look at it yesterday. Power Plate it's called. Did a good aerobics class yesterday morning.

Great work Shay.

Hi Kissa, aerobics You should have a go on the power plate, I was a bit self conscious at first because ours is placed right at the front of the room so everyone can see you messing with it it really hits the spot though, I plan on using it a lot more often.

Thanks Lou, I will definitely give it a go next week.

Do you do classes too or just the machines and weights?

So far, just machines and free weights although I would like to try other things. My PT is really strict about sticking to his plan, if I deviate he tells me off!! I really want to get in shape then I'll add aerobics, kick boxing or that sort of thing for interest.
