Alright....Getting on that monster of a bike again. Oh...I am dreading that hill. But I'm gonna do it. Oh...need motivation right now. Okay. I'm doing it. 2 miles to the store up hill and coast back. Okay!!!

Thanks Shantony - the good news is it looks like I'll be working 8-4 for at least 3 days a week - so will hit the gym on those days!!! and at the weekend. It will be good.

Hi ladies,

I see that you're down to 22lbs to go Minty!! Keep up the good work, those hours sound much more civilised unlike Shays night hours!!EEK!!

Off to the gym myself tonight, I'm feeling extra saintly as I'm 3 days into my mini challenge and staying on track!

Guess what! They have a gym in the hotel lobby where I work. No one is in there about 2:30 am...guess where I will be during my lunch break! Mmm hmmm...in there on that treadmill and working on these pudding arms!

Gotta be thankful for the little things. So yay!! no bike and no outdoor walk today...gonna do it in the gym tonight/wee hours!

I did the gym on Friday night and Saturday morning (this one was for Shy) I have an appointment with said, PT tomorrow night to write a new programme as I think this one is too hard and complicated. I'm a simple girl really and only need to be told to do 20 mins at that speed here or 20 mins at sucha incline there instead, I got upper glutes, lower miximals and quadrangle thingies, . . .
We'll see, anyhoo I love going to the gym . . .

Well I have not done any exercise for the past 3 days. Sad about that. But I will do a lot of walking at the mall today. Try to go round it a couple of times to equal 3 miles.

Finished work at 4.00pm today!! Made it to the gym!!! 25mins on the X-trainer - hoped to make it longer - but my foot gave up - tomorrow I hope to get to a Body Pump!!!! Yay!!!

My exercise is going really, really well at the moment . . . in doing some extra workout time for Shy, I find that I'm keeping my motivation high. Despite no weightloss I think I am starting to feel the difference in my shape? Not sure though, time will tell.

That's not to say that the rest of my WOL is going right . . . I'm at a crossroads as far as eating is concerned and if I want to get to goal I have to seriously think about a plan of action. I have two days to workout what my priorities are then start on Sunday.

if u arent already lou u will see a shape change soon.. see all those workouts for me are helping lol

if the numbers are seriously what matter hit kimkins for weekdays and atkins for weekends or if u want to go really mad KE for a few days a week...u might find tho that the numbers arent whats important put against how u enjoy what u eat now and the forthcoming shape changes.

You are so smart, that's exactly what's bothering me. I love eating the way I do, I have a lifestyle that my family joins in with and adds to if they want. I'm not gaining weight and I feel that I'm starting to look better too . . . it's just that goal . . . I set it based on where I was when I was 19 plus a stone because I'm nearly 40, I thought that would be realistic, mmmmm

I'm beginning to hate numbers . . . I did say to Richard the other day that perhaps I'm at goal and just need toning? Time will tell, I will still go to the gym as I am really enjoying it and have embraced the challenge of getting fitter. I'm seriously thinking of the race for life next year as I ran/jogged 2k yesterday, I could hardly walk this time last year and really would like to do it!!

honestly i SOO went thru this when i started exercising... u really will see the difference in another week or so .. clothes will start getting looser etc BUT i still got so frustrated with those damn numbers i joined KE (see the other thread for rest of this sentence lol)

I have lots of blonde, senior moments and I'm a redhead!!

I'll take your advice and try to be patient, I'll give it a 'reasonable' time to start showing in my 'cloth' and 'trouser' . . . two weeks 'ish

I'll reply to Tippy to thank her for the inspiration later but that would be nice if you tell her too, I love her avatar, her stats are very impressive and she really is lovely, just like you I like her style!!

I read Tippy's thread too. She is really making a study of weight loss, she looks amazing and her stats are brilliant.

I did the Bootcamp Lou, worth a look and it really worked but it is so good getting back to healthy low carb. You have done brilliantly and it has been quick too. Give you body a little more time with the new fitness regime. I am sure it will really pay off.

Stepping up the workouts . . . I was at the gym yesterday so will probably go for an hour, to do some stretching, floor exercises and weights tonight.

You'd laugh if you could see me do the superman thing on a swiss ball, I nearly wet myself trying to stay on it . . . I fall over the pattern on a carpet!!
