I have so much to lose that it can be really discouraging. I don't even see much of a difference in the mirror. But yesterday, my daughter wanted me to carry her on my back while we were outside so she could see the animals in the field. After a while, she was getting really heavy. She is four. Later it dawned on me that she weighs about 35 lbs. It was like I was carrying her around before I lost the weight! Lightbulb moment. D'oh.

Just thinking about losing another 35 and how much more energy I will have has helped to motivate me.

Morning everyone.

I'm up 4lbs, I think it may be because of all this extra exercise. My appetite has increased quite a bit, I’m sleeping better and I have increased carbs a bit, although they are still 30 or below, nothing else has changed so I’m hoping it’s just water retention. I think I may, possibly, be about to whoosh, the top part of my stomach just under my boobs is all wobbly, I've never had the pokemon thing before so we'll see . . . oh I hope it is . . .

no gym for me again this week .. to be honest standing up for 10 mins feels like enough of a workout for the moment lol

going to try for weekend maybe.. doubt i will get much done but who knows

I went to the gym last night and the trainer had me doing circuits and RUNNING!! . . . and JOGGING!! Who'd have believed it, I only did a couple of minutes but I did it! I used to run when I was at school and college, then I discovered judo and team sports like netball, the running just fell by the wayside.
My knees aren't what they used to be but I am amazed with myself, I may even . . . now this is a big secret between you me and LCF . . .try for the 'Race For Life' next year, shhhhh.

We took a picture of me on concorde again, I haven't forgotten just been very busy. I'll post it soon, I promise.

well i made it back to the gym last week.. my arms particularly felt so weak.. i did abut a third of what i would normally do and boy was it hard .. scary how out of condition u can get so quickly isnt it

was gonna go today but cant cos of well read whinge thread lol

Well I did my 30 mins this morning walking with my dad. It will be a hot one today. It has been up around 30 since I got home. But it is suppsed to make it up the 90's today. I don't what that is in UK temp.

I walked at least 5 miles every day while I was away but the food I ate was yuck, so that negates the exercise . . .

As of, in a minute I'm going to ring the gym to get in to see my personal trainer.
