I hope the sunburn isn't too bad!

I've exercised every day except one so far this week. I didn't do it yesterday.

I've decided that for now I'll stick with the yoga as my formal exercise, and when I'm on the computer I set a timer so that after an hour it reminds me to get up and do something, and then I'll do either a few minutes with the weights, or a few lunges or press ups or something - rotating through working different parts of the body. It won't get me into a bodybuilding competition, but it has to help a bit, and it may be more likely to happen than adding in a whole extra exercise session.

When I feel up to it, I'd like to get back to doing Slow Burn, because it only takes about half an hour a week, but at the moment, it seems to leave me feeling worn out, so I'll stick with milder stuff for now.

It's working quite well. In the daytime I'll do something more strenuous, then in the evening maybe just a few stretches or something. But it adds a bit more movement to the day without too much pain!

There must be something in the air. I've just been ringing to get an electrician, because every time I try to turn the kitchen lights on, it blows a fuse. They're halogen lights, so I think it might be the transformer. So my current exercise is clearing enough junk out of the way that they can get to the floorboards in the room above the kitchen .

It felt cool while we were going along and it was lovely Devon countryside all the way on a converted railway track. Sat in Deep shade at a pub halfway and got a bit cold! Had to have a few minutes in the sun to warm up again!

I'm going to split my sessions, into cardio and weights, to make sure I've got the time to really do both well. Want to be doing 45 mins cardio on cardio days and making sure I'm getting plenty of reps on the strength training days. This will mean going 6 days a week instead of 3, which makes it even more of an everyday habit, which is what I want. Sunday will be my rest day.

Wibbled last night. Had to use a bike instead of the cross trainer for part of my session as the cross trainers were very popular last night! I'll have my re-assessment at the gym this Friday, see what improvements I've made over the month. My weight has finally started going down again after barely moving all month, now lost a little under 3lbs for the month. Hopefully the bodyfat figure and the blood pressure and the various other readings they take will be improved too.

My right ankle is hurting a bit though, hope that's not going to start giving me gyp. I did sprain it a few years ago - and it never went back to the same shape. But I don't normally have trouble with it. Maybe I'll pop into the chemist for an ankle support or a bit of tubigrip.

will be interesting to see what they say at yr re-assessment friday, it should be VERy positive after all the work u done this month

glad to hear the weight is moving again, took me a few weeks to start losing again after i upped the exercise too

be careful with yr ankle the support sounds a good idea

wibbled this morning... 30 mins uphill on treadmill marchin with 1kg dumbells, also did some exercises with the weights (figured do both and save time lol)... then did 50 lengths

oh and am now cleaning ds room and thats a workout all on its own!!!!

I've done some junk moving (including quite a lot of trips up and down stairs), and I'll do some yoga before we go out tonight.

Wibbling tonight. Bought some tubigrip for my dodgy ankle. Tomorrow I go shopping for some gym trousers. I only have 5 pairs and from August I'll need 6, unless I want to start faffing around washing midweek, which I hate.

I'm going to be doing something fairly light today, because my back is twinging a bit after clearing out junk the last couple of days. I will exercise, because it helps settle things down, but it won't be anything very strenuous.

Lots of gentle stretching will do it good.

My back's still grumbling, so it will be another day of multiple short gentle sessions.
